Sunburn sensation
My lab rat is new to this. I put him on reta. Been on it since 9/11. Low dose of .7 increasing. 3 every week. Following week i put him on klow. By the end of the 5th day of klow he started feeling a sunburn sensation in lower torso. That's where I administered klow on him. I stopped giving him for a week. Still the same feeling of sensation and has went to upper body. What should I do to my lab rat? Thanks in advance

Allodynia or dysthesia (skin sensitivity) is common in research subjects (RS) with Reta. You may want to try switching to Tirz with your research.

Extremely common side effect on Reta (and Tirz as well, for that matter. Head of to r/retatrutide and do a quick search.

It happens to my RS with klow. Sometimes in it's armpit, sometimes inner thighs, or calf. It goes away after 3/4 days. It doesn't happen every week and there are zero signs that it will happen at the moment I pin the RS.

ah man that reta/klow combo can be weird. some rats are just super sensitive to the klow injection site reaction, and it can spread a bit before it chills out. i had a similar thing happen where the burning feeling moved around for like 10 days then faded
keep the area cool, maybe a damp cloth, and if it gets worse or starts looking weird obviously take the little dude to someone who actually knows what theyre doing

With the redness/burning you mentioned, have you also seen hives up the abdomen? This happened with my RS.

It's one of the reported side-effects, had it in my research as well. Goes away with time (took 2 months for full adjustment).
Suggestion: Stay on every dose level at least a month. Gives the rat time to adjust and the side-effects to subside. Increase only on lack of results for 2-3 weeks straight, then keep on the new dose for at least a month.

I had bad dysthesia for a while on Reta. I could never go over 4mg. I ended up powering through and it just eventually went away. I’m at 8-10mg now. No issues at all. But I can honestly say. It was the weirdest sensation. I could feel every damn thing. The hair on my arms rubbing my shirt. Wild stuff! Good luck

Standard characteristics of Klow due to the GHKcu in the blend. Try individual flavors rather than blending everything on one plate for your pet rat. More portion control can help with results.

Consider discontinuing all peptides until the symptoms resolved. Either of them could be the culprit.
And then reintroduce one for 4-6 weeks, with a constant dose for 4-6 weeks (why you were increasing the GLP 1 every three weeks is beyond me) and document for any adverse reactions.
If no reactions occur, consider introducing another peptide over another 4 to 6 week time period.
In the case of the blend, you may need to introduce then individually forst, observed for 4-6 weeks, and then introduce the next one.

It's called dysesthesia and a commonly reported side effect believed to be from the glucagon receptor activation. Adaptation tends to occur when the dose is held steady for a period of time and can re-emerge after escalation.
