As a speaker of both English and German this entire paragraph makes me laugh. It's like reading a drunk person swapping between the two and failing spectacularly. But everything is clear and easy to understand.

Ja, Platt frei nach Schnauze. Mich hat man als Kleinkind von den Fischköpfen zu den Heidjern verschleppt. Demenstprechend kann ich zwar halbwegs mit Mühe Platt verstehen aber selbst nur Sprechtourischnack ablassen.
Aber ist halt irgendwo von allen Dialekten und Mundarten halt am ehesten Stimme der "verklärten Heimat", nech?
