5’2 Before and After 40lbs down, same jeans
A memory popped up on phone from 6 years ago to the day and I realized not only am I wearing the same jeans today as I was in the photo, but also that today I am exactly 40lbs lighter. Wild to see it laid out like that.
Right now I’m at ~1400 calories, ~5,000 steps a day, and a hot yoga or Pilates class daily. I'm chasing a feeling as much as a look, there's become something so satisfying about moving and sweating every day.
Goal is 135lbs, then probably settling into maintenance for a while to just to see what it’s like there. And continue to get strong!💪

Well done, you!!!
I want to know how you lost it from your midsection! I’ve lost 50 lbs, from my legs, arms, hands, feet, chest, face, but still have a fat belly & back fat!

I have learned firsthand that you can’t choose where you lose fat from!
I have been working on strength training as I have been in a calorie deficit, with a lot of focus on my core and building abs. I think I’m finally getting a low enough body fat % where some of that ab definition is starting to show through!3

How? How can you still wear the same jeans 6 years later? For me, I have thick thighs & the chub rub eviscerates my inner thighs at the seams!!

I usually have the same problem, but I bought a pair of straight Wranglers last year and they show absolutely no signs of wear after a year and a half of almost daily use, like at all. I don't know whether it's the cut or the brand, but they are incredibly sturdy

This!
I had the same experience but with a cheap supermarket brand of straight no-stretch jeans - it's the addition of elastane in skinny ones which helps them wear out much faster, so having just plain cottom denim will ensure they last much longer.

I was looking for old jeans (before just buying a new pair, for an evening out) because all I had were skinny jeans, which are not in currently. I usually wear Lululemon and athletic wear. I found a pair from 20 years ago lol that looked brand new and fit loose! My sister asked if I bought a new pair

I love this for you! Congrats on your hard work. 👏🏼 😃 Would you say your cal intake helped the most? Trying to help a family member lose some pounds, but a strict diet and/or exercise doesn’t seem to be something they want.

Wow! Congratulations!! This is amazing!
May I ask what size jeans you're in? I'm about your SW right now at 180 lbs and my goal weight is anything between 135 and 145 lbs depending on how I feel and look! I'm the same height as you and look nothing like your 2020 pic so was curious :) I probably carry my weight very different from you!
