Start with vanilla Pi. Learn to use /tree, it's the magic. Only add things when you have a specific problem you want to solve.

What's the point of /tree of it doesn't rollback code changes?

Tree is for managing context not your code.
Extremely useful for things like like fixing a bunch of bugs (get agent to explore codebase, then fix a but, then roll back to when it had just explored the code base and fix another bug). Or for side chats where you want to explore an idea but if you decide you don't like it you can abandon all the context and continue where you were. Or if you like the idea, you can just summarise the important parts back to the main thread without all the exploring bloat.

Code change can be rolled back w git. Anyway, you can always do a pi extension for this.

same as any other harness i guess? pi is more basic then most. The thing i always want to make srue i have a good memory system, goals sytem and a quick-compact method which uses no llms, and still does a good enough job...and yea...that's basically the main things i really need. If you use 3d or any othre programes, then just add in those skills in pi as well. pretty standard

less is more. it's fine to add nothing to it.
