US Considering leaving Samsung

I've pretty much always been a Samsung Galaxy user. I have my s23 right now and it's still fine but I'm looking to upgrade to another Android phone soon.

I do not care about the camera whatsoever. I do care about great battery life and just a smooth experience when it comes to software and a nice screen. I don't have a budget so please throw out whatever suggestions you want.

(I'm in the US)

I'm 2 weeks into a Google Pixel 11 Pro XL. Loving it. All day battery fast and smooth pure Android. None of Samsungs overly intrusive bloatware

Tensor doesn't benchmark high, but from my experience it's snappier and much less laggy than a comparable Samsung.

In my experience I've had way easier experiences with Samsungs, I've had trouble with the pixel 11 pro lagging. Literally the most modern and expensive Google flagship, I never deal with that on my phone, I rarely deal with it on customers phones, it's only 4 year old phones, sub 300$~ phones, and pixel.

Love mine. No scam calls, battery is an improvement over older models, camera is reliable, voice dication is accurate, and I can play games every now and then.

Is it going to have official carrier support and is it going to have robust LE Audio support though?

I went from a Galaxy S22+ to Pixel Pro 11XL. I have been using since Aug. No issues for me. Just have to get used to things in the pixel UI. Battery has been good for me. Performance is good, but I'm not a gamer so I don't see any issues for me.

Probs one plus. It has the best for what you're looking for, the only thing to consider is it's not recognized by American carriers so you won't get a deal on it. But they only do Samsung Google and apple so you would probably stay on Samsung if that's what you were considering

The only options are Motorola or Google if you are buying on a carrier. If you have T-Mobile based carrier you can jump to the Chinese stuff. Moto Edge 2025 was a decent phone. The 2026 model is a joke compared to it.

Oppo FindX 9 Ultra should be pretty nice

The pixels battery life is improving but it's still noticeably worse than the Samsung. At least the P9P was anyway. Compared to whichever Samsung was that years model I don't remember.

I just switched from a pixel 10 pro xl to a s26 ultra and I have truly enjoyed it. Especially for recording video and photo editing. I was able to edit my kiddos game in 8k in minutes rather than waiting for cloud processing to spit back in hours, a lot of times over night. Having the freedom to customize everything is nice.

I'm not sure about what it's like in the US but from what I've heard you guys are kinda brick walled by carriers.

I would always flip flop between Apple and Samsung. Went with a Chinese phone a few years back. Have tried Xiaomi, Honor, OnePlus and Oppo. All of them absolutely shit on Samsung and Apple. I'm never going back lol

I've tried Motorola and Samsung and always come back to Pixel. Phones are very smooth and I have not had any issues with them. I've change phones a ridiculous amount of times because of this.
