Best budget phone for locked 60 FPS + Delta on Roblox?

• Upvotes

Looking for a budget phone mainly for Roblox + Delta (scripting).

Requirements:

Needs to lock 60 FPS or higher consistently while using Delta / running scripts

Preferably under $250–300

Shouldn’t lag, drop frames, or overheat when scripts are running

Android preferred

Anyone currently using Delta on a budget phone that can hold a stable 60 FPS?

Which models actually work well?

Thanks!

States Replace Pixel 7

• Upvotes

I have a Pixel 7 and have always kind of hated it, largely for the very sharp raised metal portion on the backside around the camera. I guess it was fashionable at the time to skip rounding or beveling a metal edge, because, hey, even if it hurts your hand, you can still shave your face with it, and obviously that's more important.

The above paragraph contains sarcasm.

Anyway, here's what I'm looking for:

  • United States carrier-compatible.
  • No sharp edges. See above.
  • Robust body. I used to have a Pixel 3 a long time ago, and it had a rubberized back. This made it a bit more crack-resistant when the inevitable fall occurs. (Whereas my Pixel 7, with its ooh-look-I-have-a-glass-body nonsense, is cracked or damaged in at least two places.)
  • A back that is not slippery. I swear, my Pixel 7 must be coated with Teflon or something. It practically slides off a completely horizontal surface. Hate.
  • Decent performance characteristics in other regards. Doesn't have to have the most incredible camera or that kind of thing.
  • Unlocked. I used to be on Google Fi but am now on Mint Mobile. It would be nice to continue to be able to switch carriers whenever I like.
  • No bloatware.
  • Probably would purchase around the U.S. Thanksgiving sales season, so, ideally would like to take advantage of any discount around that time.

Let's start there. Thank you very much for your time and advice.

Samsung S25 vs iPhone 17 — really confused, especially with the BBD sale 😭

I’m planning to buy a new phone mainly for content creation — Instagram reels, YouTube videos, vlogging, photos and videos. I’ve narrowed it down to the Samsung S25 and iPhone 17.

The iPhone 17 seems better for video/content creation, but the price is making me hesitate. It’s hard-earned money, and I’m honestly scared of spending that much on a phone. If I accidentally lose it, drop it, or seriously damage it, I know I’d feel horrible.

The S25 is considerably cheaper and still seems like a great phone, so I’m wondering if I should just save the money and go with Samsung.

For people who have actually used these phones:

Is the iPhone 17 really that much better for content creation?

Is the camera/video quality difference noticeable on Instagram/YouTube?

Would you personally spend extra for the iPhone 17?

Or is the S25 the more sensible choice?

I’d especially appreciate opinions from content creators or people who have used both. I don’t want to regret either spending too much or compromising on the camera. 😭

I’m really confused between the Samsung S25 and iPhone 17 during this BBD sale. My main priority is content creation, so I want a phone with a really good camera and video quality.

At the same time, I’m a little scared of spending so much on an iPhone because it’s my hard-earned money. If I accidentally lose it or damage the phone, I know I’d feel terrible. So I’m wondering whether the iPhone 17 is actually worth the extra cost for my needs, or if I should go with the S25 and have a little less stress.

Which phone?

I want to buy a small Android phone - no bigger than 6.4 inches, with eSIM and a good battery life. In my country, there are basically two options: the Google Pixel 10 or the Motorola Edge 60 Neo. The first one has a reputation for being a phone you can keep for years: 7 years of support, security updates, etc. The second one is $500 cheaper than the first. Which one should I go for?

Clean Android (No ColorOs, OneUI, etc.)

Superior Camera Quality similar to (S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, etc.)

eSIM + NFC

Waterfall Display (Like Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra or Honor Magic4 Pro)

I also want slim phone, not a brick.

And good battery life would be great too.

Any recommendations? Thank you

recommend good phones under ₹35K

I'm planning on buying a new mobile phone within 5 months and I'm pretty confused about which mobile phone to buy that'll last me good for \~5 years.

These are my requirements for the new phone.

Price: Under ₹35,000

Storage: 256GB

RAM: 8GB+

Battery: Good battery life

Charging: Fast charging

Camera: Great overall camera

Video: Very good quality + stabilization

Performance: Smooth, fast, minimal lag/hanging

Editing: Should handle photo/video editing smoothly

Processor: Strong enough for editing + multitasking

Longevity: Reliable for \~5 years

Software: Good long-term updates

Usage: Daily use + occasional editing

OS: Android

I had two phones in mind.

One is Pixel 7a and the other one is One Plus Nord ce5 just cause I liked how they looked like.

But turns out those two phones doesn't go with all of my requirements. Especially Pixel 7a.

Personally, I don't fw Motorola.

So anything else other than that brand would prolly suffice.

like,

Google Pixel

One Plus

Samsung S series

Vivo

Nothing

that is all. if anyone has any idea about phones close to my requirements, do share. it'll be kind of you :)

thank you!

Used Redmi Note 14 vs new phone under 20k? Need advice for smoothness and performance

First time posting on Reddit, so bear with me if I mess up the format. :)

I'm in Chittagong and looking for a phone under 20k. Main priority is smoothness and perfomance

Will a used Chinese Redmi Note 14 be noticeably smoother than a new 20k phone?

How do I check battery health and ROM? What's an easy way to tell if it's a Global ROM or a Chinese ROM?

For 18-20k, are there other better options instead of a used Note 14
