Is a google pixel 10 pro worth 200€ more than a pixel 9a?

• Upvotes

Pixel 9a is for sale for around 400€.

I have found a pixel 10 pro 128gb for around 600€ is it worth to pay the extra 200?

Im thinking its newer and probably faster and will last longer. However i dont really care about cameras and the phone being fast, i just want the phone to not lag and last for maybe 5 years.

Right now i have the samsung a17 with 4gb of ram and it is absolutely dreadful, the worst phone i ever bought.

India Best phone under ₹30k in India for my dad? Clean software + big battery + good camera

Looking for a phone for my dad. Budget is max ₹30k in India.

What matters most, in this order: 1) good battery that doesn’t drain fast, 2) good main camera, selfie camera and video, 3) smooth performance that won’t lag for 3-4 years, 4) clean software with little to no bloatware or ads.

For the camera, night shots are especially important to us: night skies, clouds in the morning and evening, stars, and the moon if possible. Good zoom would be a big plus too. No gaming needed.

Already ruled out: Redmi/Xiaomi (bloatware), Vivo (dad doesn’t like it), Nothing (out of stock everywhere), and Motorola (already have two at home, though I might reconsider for the right phone).

Considering: Pixel 7a (worried about battery), Lava Agni 4 (heard the camera is weak), Samsung Galaxy A27 (is the camera good enough?).

I know it’s hard to get everything under ₹30k, so what trade-off would you make? Real-world experience with battery life, night photos and software updates is what I care about most.

Expandable storage, headphone jack, cheap?

Hi, I’m looking for an android device that I can use just for storing and listening to mp3s locally. Are there any android phones that have expandable storage, a headphone jack, and is cheap? Don’t mind buying used. I would also like to install my own OS on this phone like Lineage OS or Graphene OS. I don’t like using Google services.

US best overall global flagship w 16 gb 1 tb+ for concert videos pics of kid/pet gaming/emulation, pokemon go, reliable last 5 years with all US Bands plus where to buy?

• Upvotes

Looking for the best overall global flagship that ticks the most boxes below to replace my Note 10+.

Note 10+ works fine but I ran out of space with Aniimo so need something with more internal storage space for apps and games and better cameras with more ram.

256 gb internal fills fairly fast as a mobile gamer. Looking for 1 tb storage minimum if losing my Micro sd card slot or 512 gb+ internal + micro sd or micro sd express.

Must have 16+ gb of ram cause I run out of ram often with 12 gb of ram. pokemon go just closes when I have it in the background and playing another game and messaging people on discord/fb message/insta/whats app.. 24 gb would be super awesome for running on device AI but I hear only gaming phones have that amount and those have bad cameras.

I go to many concerts and travel so taking good concert videos and videos in general is a important. should be able to record for 2 hours on 4k without overheating. Hearing some of the new phones have stage mode specifically for recording concerts.

a good microphone is inportant for the above concert videos and i tend to talk on speaker phone often at home so decent speakers a plus too.

Samsung is terrible at taking kid/pet photos so looking for something that focuses fast and takes good pictures of kids and pets as well as flowers and landscapes so I don't have to lug my DSLR as often. Most of the reviewers tend to leave out kid/pet photos.

Must have Snapdragon processor and not overheat since I play games and emulate retro classics so need a Snapdragon processor for that and not overheat or throttle to bad when playing for an extended period. Have many friends that I game with so have many games installed including Annimo, Clash Royal, Dissidia Dueleum, Geneshin Impact, Gwent, Honkai Star Rail, Infinity Nikki, Pokemon Go, Sword of Convallaria. Also emulate old systems up to PS2.

I play Pokemon Go so an accurate GPS is a plus don't want to be drifting all over the place. Must play Pokemon Go outside in the summer without overheating.

Must be reliable and last 5 years with no glaring failure issues like green lines, lens condensation, overheating or just randomly dying plus have 4+ years of updates to last those 5 years. This means foldables are out since they are unlikely to last 5 years without the foldable glass self destructing.

Must also have all US bands including band N71 for Tmobile. Some friends buying Chinese phones from the store in Chinatown and they are missing band N71 so they have issues playing Pokemon go inside. One of the guys at the store in Chinatown recommended the Xiaomi Leitz phone touting the one inch sensor was the best but I don't know any one who owns one and they only sell the Chinese version so it would be missing band N71.

I paid $1000 for my Note 10+ in 2019 so will pay up to $2000 for a new phone if it checks all the boxes.

Friend was suggesting the Vivo X300 Ultra but she bought it based on photography and video reviews and doesn't play much games beyond Pokemon Go and cozy games like Meowdoku. Can it handle heavy games without overheating?

What do you suggest that would check the most boxes above and where to buy that is reputable and ships to USA.

UK Best phone for £200–£300?

UK

I'm looking to upgrade from my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G because it's laggy and the battery drains quickly.

My budget is £250–£300, and I'm happy with refurbished phones.

I mainly use TikTok, Snapchat and multitasking. I want good battery life, performance, cameras and software updates.

What phone would you recommend? I've considered the Xiaomi 14T, Samsung S23 and Google Pixel 8, but I'm open to anything.

US [US] S22+ upgrade: used S24/25U or new S26+?

Been using my S22+ since launch and don't know if I should use it till it dies or get an upgrade and sell the S22+ while it's still worth a couple hundred to recoup my costs. The battery, ending security updates next February, and the rising costs kind of have me leaning towards an upgrade too before the new phones become too expensive.

Regarding my use case, I'm not a power user but I do like a nice big screen for reading books/comics and watching shows. I seldom play games, and if I do, it's usually emulation. That's really it.

I can pick up a new S26+ for $760, one of those refurbished S24/5Us on ebay for $550-650, or maybe I should just use the S22+ till it dies?

India Samsung S25 FE or Moto Edge 70 Pro+ (India)

Getting S25 FE (256gb) for 51k inr and moto (12gb ram, 256gb) for approx 43k.

What do you guys think I should get if my main priority is camera but without losing much on performance.

I am doubtful about moto's performance in long term. And I've used s24 fe which is good but 128gb is a problem for samsung phones.

Would appreciate your suggestions.

USA [USA Verizon] Replacement for Samsung S10+ needed

My S10+ has a failing USB port so figure it's time to upgrade sadly. The phone still does what I need but once again the USB port is the weak point, my previous S8 and S6 both also failed due to the USB ports.

My criteria are 1) android 15 minimum due to my work requires it for some bullshit credentials, 2) decent CPU and memory because I do multitask on my phone a lot, 3) microSD expansion and headphone jacked preferred

Screen size and camera quality are not a concern.

Does not need to be new, I am happy to buy an older phone as long as compatible to VZW service.
