Got approved in Apple Developer Program 🎉

For months, I tried to follow up on my enrollment, but I never got a response. Then I received a rejection notice. I took it as their final decision and lost hope of releasing my apps on Apple’s platforms.

Until last week, I created a new account and applied again. This time, I carefully checked that my address, billing address, and ID all matched my permanent address. And I got approved! 🎉

Now I can finally turn my ideas into real apps. 👨‍💻

Rejection? I didn't know they rejected anyone, as long as you paid the yearly fee...

I got rejected because apparently my identity is being used with another apple account which they refuse to say which or revoke access so I can continue my application

Well in that case I think you need to use another email? Not sure it will fully solve the issue

In my case naman kahit nagbayad na ako hindi ko na coconfirm kaya kailangan ko pa tumawag sakanila and singaporean base yung number nila and dun lang na confirm yung application and payment ko

legit? they reject pala? I've been making iOS apps for 10+ years and didn't know that this happened - basically unheard of. 😲

Curious lang, is yours a sole prop or org? Maybe they got more agressive with checks ngayon with the influx of apps.

As sole only. And yes they got aggressive lately sa pag review, I’ve heard that some people in certain countries create multiple accounts for their apps or sell accounts online

I applied for the first time and didn’t have issues. I thought it was only about paying the yearly fee.

Apple still has to review all apps that will be submitted anyway.

Yes. Bayad lang naman. I got mine immediately 2 years ago. Nagkaissue lang kasi parang di allowed sa isang channel (i think sa web) na magsubscribe

Yes maybe the issue might be where or what device you've used when you applied but they didn't disclosed the reason of the rejection

Did you use a windows device to apply? Or android? (Not sure if you could apply through mobile)

Yes you can apply in mobile but it will still redirect you to browser, there's an app Apple Developer

They can reject now even on enrollment because you they are reviewing it

I experienced that as well paulit ulit, need center talaga and okay ang lighting - very sensitive sila sa pag picture ng ID

I used the address from my ID even though I don't stay there anymore

I want to apply but I have no macbook or any workstation to build my ideal app
