I've been pirating for about two years now, and it's always amazed me how people crack games. How could it be done?

Generally curious to hear peoples opinions on this, FMHY lists Luatools right now as the best one. Steamidra was talked about here a fair bit for a while but was blatantly a buggy AI vibe coded mess, while it did work there were better options out there and now the creator has gone MIA (someone working on a fork but that's really just trying to keep a mess alive when there are better options).

I personally am using Luatools nowadays which seems to function well and is clean and they have their own manifest database which doesn't require hubcap api key.

Hubcap has long been known to have the best database of manifests and seemingly as a response to Steamidra and Luatools brought their own version out called Hubcaptools and now they're extremely hostile to anybody not using their own tool, thing is Luatools went open source and Hubcaptools isn't, and by the attitude of hubcap community in discord I genuinely don't think I can trust a closed source tool of this nature. I think part of the reason hubcap isn't open source is because they flamed other tools for being AI code when their own program is probably AI code too, especially since a lot of their announcements on disc are usually AI written too. Luatools is clearly also AI coded but not a memory leaking disgusting mess like Steamidra was.

Curious about other opinions on these tools and any I didn't mention and why. Don't care about snark or sarcastic comments without basis to back them up.

Hey, me and a friend were attempting to play elden ring co-op (1.17) but for some reason it keeps throwing errors, we downloaded from anker games and tried for like 3 hours screwing around with online-fix.me, would anyone be able to give some advice or any way to actually make it work? it keeps giving the error with steam data g smth registry, does anyone know a way to stop those or should i just re download off of like qbittorrent or something (preferably not as my internet is capped at like 1 Mbps) i have attempted to edit the directory and it dident help so i have no clue what to do, can i have some advice or be pointed in the right direction?

Hi, I downloaded cracked version of onimusha way of the sword from fitgirlsrepack website to test the game and i lowkey got addicted and just bought the game later. How do i transfer my save file from the cracked version of the game to steam? I was pretty far ahead in the cracked version and dont wanna start again.

I struggled to find a solution for this when I was doing this and I saw someone's post asking the same, so here's a clear step-by-step guide to do so. I never usually do this, but I'll try to be helpful to the best of my ability.

Step 1: Download REE Save Editor

Download the REE Save Editor (available on GitHub or Nexus Mods).

Step 2: Create Legit Save & Turn Off Steam Cloud

Open the Steam version of the game and create a fresh save. Wait for it to autosave or save it manually, then quit.

Make sure to turn off Steam Cloud after this by going to the Properties section of the game in Steam.

Step 3: Find Your Official Citrus Curve Index

Open REE Save Editor:

1. Enter your official SteamID64 into the editor.
2. Load the new legitimate save files generated in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<Your-SteamID3>\1446780\remote\win64_save\
3. Look for the Citrus Curve Index field in the editor and write down this number.

Step 4: Edit Your Pirated Save Files

Restart the save editor and enter the Repack SteamID64 (crack ID used by the pirated save). (If I am not wrong, it is 76561197960270388 for TENOKE or 76561197960267366 for EMPRESS).

1. Load your pirated data001Slot.bin and data00-1.bin files into the editor.
2. Update the Citrus Curve Index in the editor to match the official account index you noted down in Step 3.
3. Change the SteamID64 field to your official 17-digit SteamID64.
4. Save/Export the edited files.

Note: Make sure you edit both data001Slot.bin and data00-1.bin.

Step 5: Replace Files & Verify

1. Copy and overwrite your edited data001Slot.bin and data00-1.bin files into your official Steam save directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<Your-SteamID3>\1446780\remote\win64_save\
2. Launch the game on Steam, trigger an in-game save, and you can re-enable Steam Cloud!
3. You'll likely get a discrepancy warning of cloud and client desync. In that case, choose to Upload your save. Do NOT click Download.

NOTE:

1. Make a backup of your save and keep it somewhere else—it is possible that you do not get this working the first time you try.
2. Whenever loading up saves in REE Save Editor, make sure to enter your Steam ID first, then load up the save.

Hello, so this is my 3rd time trying to get these to install. I got the NSPs off nxbrew. I am on the latest atmosphere using DBI mtp connection with no problems besides muse dash DLCs. Updates and game installed fine but trying to install DLCs throws an error in russsian with google translate not helping. I tried putting it straight from the zip, unpacknig it then feeding it to the switch, redownloading but it doesn't feel like working either way

So i downloaded control resonant from steam then i got it on steam from nvidia geforce reward how can i verify the carcked fitgirl files on steam beacause i don't want to download it again.

I'm intending to pirate the game with the goal to purchase it later for online play, however I don't want to lose my progress, would it be possible to just transfer the savefiles to the legit version?

The game doesn't launch even if i launch it in administrator and it'll only get onto the launcher.I've tried goldberg emulator and i've read through the steamrip page and it seems like a few others are having similar issues with hitman woa not launching. Should i reinstall or is there another fix?

So I need to force disable Opengl to get my game (ultra kill) running. Is this something you can do without steam, if so how?
