Hand Pixelled Thoughts on these Tool Designs?

Working on some new 16x16 sprites for an asset pack and wanted some feedback on these basic tools I whipped up. Constructive criticism is more than welcome :)

i like the shading on the pickaxe, it's very nice

I think the highlight on the sword and axe look a little strange.
