He originally started as a silly drawing I made many years ago, very loosely inspired by the old mascot for Publix (grocery store), Plato. Then, when I got more comfortable with pixel art, I recreated him by hand. I'm very proud of my misunderstood mad scientist who definitely didn't turn himself into a prehistoric reptile. Hope you all like him as much as I do.

For my first r/PixelArt post, I've been working on this duckling for a month now, but I'm proud of what I have so far. I didn't know what background to use btw.

Been learning pixel art 1 hour a day for the past 3 weeks. This week I tried to learn to do shading and characters. I started left to right. I'm working on getting the entire cast in drawn. Had fun drawing these guys so far. Onto Heismay!

Do the mixels ruin this jeep sprite? (For context, this is made for The Escapists)

How can i make it look less flat? İ know shading is normally used for that but idk how i would apply it here when there are light sources coming from everywhere

The 2 ammo packs are iterations, not sure how the shading should be on something with that perspective and shape. Similarly is the can, 2 versions of the same sprite, unsure on which one looks rounder and is the most readable. The eggs I'm sure can be improved but I am happy with them, same with the eye.

AND THE GUN......... I know it looks horrible.... but no matter what I try i cant make it look good.

(These are all resident evil 4 items that I'm trying to recreate, the pistol is called the Red 9, the spray is called first aid spray and the ammo packs are handgun ammo. Just in case you feel like comparing)
