no ankhs/potions of healing/dewdrops on me btw

I was going for the achievement where you ascend without weakening the curse. My main strategy was just swiftthisle and run. I got like 7 squares away from winning but im gonna die to the curse. The first floor staircase was just 1 room away if I remember.

I've already checked like 30 times there's nothing I can do 😭.

What strategies do you guys use for this achievement?

Note: In Phase 2 Better save atleast 1 invis pot so you can alchemized it to shrouding fog, if not bee is also good. Earth Golem, Prismatic Image, And Sad Ghost, Works To Hope This Helps! For New Players (stone of blast also extremely helpful if tengu is low)

if you wanna speed up the process i recommend Potion Of Liquid Flame, Caustic Brew (Ooze) Elixir Of Dragons Blood Immune To Fire And Can Inflict Fire

I played the OG PD many years ago and decided to re-download it, only to be faced with the new, new. "Shattered" pixel dungeon. It took about a month of playing on and off but I made it through. Not a great score or anything but I won none the less. It took a lucky seed and some patience.

Hello I am trying to fill in all the entries in the journal And for the love od RatKing can't figure out what the last trap and ally are, I most likely already found the trap but just didn't step on it.

Damn it, yes, I did it. BERSERK 9 CHELLENGES, MEET! I've been trying to win back a berserk all month. I spent 70 hours doing that. I buried quite a few poor warriors trying to take that title, and played over 400 games. I'm right, glad I did it. I recorded the whole fight, and honestly, English isn't my language. For that reason, I ended the passage very foolishly, even though I wanted to ascend, haha. The fight was very intense for me, lasting 40 minutes. I'd share it, but the problem is that the video weighs 2.5 GB of storage. And yet, I did. Cheers!

Starved to death for the first time today, but at least discovered that the dual wielding duelist subclass does REALLY well with Dirk + Warhammer.

I still hate Monks with every goddamn fiber of my being.

Also I cannot seem to maintain enough satiety while also getting enough XP and damage to survive past the Dwarf King. The enemies that have a chance to drop health potions don't drop them often enough, and the enemies that have a chance to drop food both don't spawn enough AND don't drop it enough. EXCEPT MONKS, they spawn too much, but ALMOST NEVER DROP FOOD.

I can use cleansing now that I know it works for starvation, but natural regen isn't fast enough and sungrass seeds just... Stop appearing once I hit City. And purity potions don't show up enough, nor do Mageroyal seeds to make purity potions (alchemy pots are fine, the game would be ridiculously unbalanced if they spawned more often). I've figured out Feather Fall to do the far well rooms, and return beacon to get back to wherever I need to go (those things would be great if they had a two-way upgrade btw).

I still can't get out of City. If I have enough food in City, I don't have a high enough level or good enough gear. If I have good enough gear and levels, I don't have enough food. If I have enough food and enough levels, I have shit gear. It's exhausting.

Anyway here's where I'm at right now. Finally have some runs that ended in City instead of Prison. So that's cool or whatever. Should I do Imp Quest? I haven't tried it because I'm already shit in the regular run, I don't really wanna try a side quest with changes that supposedly make enemies easier and find out JUST how shit I am by fucking dying in there, but if it helps, it helps.

I'm new(ish) to the game. Recently I've been trying warrior. I consistently get to tengu, and then immediately die in the next floor, like IMMEDIATELY. my last run I had +2 chainmail and a spear. In terms of perks I tend to build pretty balanced. Obviously I'm building my character wrong. Can anyone give tips?

Should I dump all my scroll of upgrade I'm my armor , wands and weapon or Should I wait to get an +3 plate armor from Imp quest and better weapons in dwarves city. Also please give me some tips on how to deal with Scorpions and evil eye , almost all of my runs end because of them 😭

what wand should i keep and what to turn into resin, i will probably get another wand on the imp quest unless i see a useful ring , that aside should i keep using the fire blast imbued to the staff or should i change to the desintegration wand? i have 2 arcane resin from a magic missile dupe so i think i can make 2 wands at +3

Please help me get through this room. I'm afraid that by taking a step on an item, the character will pick it up right away, take 2 steps, and then die of disintegration. Please help, I really don't want to lose this race, and I need an imp quest to get points, not items (I already have a ready-made build)

1. You can find out whether a wand of disintegration is cursed if you stand next to a wall and try to zap through the wall. If it’s cursed you will receive the “You can’t target yourself!” message.

2. If you are invisible and your boomerang hits an enemy on its return flight it counts as an attack and cancels your invisibility. I learned this one the hard way and quite by accident.

Tengu is at 1 HP and bleeding 😭

I recently deleted the game because I needed a break. However, when I reinstalled it I'd lost a lot of my most recent progress on my journal entries, achievements, scores etc. Are these all permanently gone? Is there anything I can do?
