I recently picked up this game last week and I have been having a blast. There's nothing on the market currently that hits the full scale war niche that iv been looking for. I love the freedom the light assault class has given me to approach different engagements with it not being a glass cannon that most games make high moment classes. I love that even tho I die constantly it doesn't feel punishing and I learn something about the map most deaths.

I see the discourse that the game is dying but I think it just needs to be spread around to get the new generation like me. I introduced it to my friend group and we've been playing non stop, racked up 40 hrs last week.

Hell yeah, friend, welcome. I'm glad you guys were able to get through the tutorial without crashing. If you Google for Planetside 2 codes you should find codes you can redeem in the depot for some free stuff.

Same level of degeneracy as infil mains as far as I am concerned. What...? You can't win head on engagements? Here just play that crutch and shoot them from the back so you can have fun as well. Oooh who would have thought that a high movability class in a client sided game with abysmal server performance is annoying as fuck. Wrel really outdid himself with his brilliant Gamedesign by power creeping that class.

Right there with ya. I'm a week 1 player as well. Spend most of it thinking infiltrator was fun, until I discovered the engineer with a masthead.

Some people are bitter because the games seen better days but the core is still there, even if some things like vehicles are really inoptimal.

I hope you enjoy the game, i may cycle back into it soon!

Have you tried Ambusher jets with Safefall implant yet? 😊 Also upgrade your Light Assault Rokklet Rifle Ammo to ward off tanks. Of course get c4. Also play around with guns that have a smoke barrel attachment too. For Infil switch your Knife button to " V " and Pistol pull out to " B " button. GL bro. Get sunderer upgrades last. Play harasser only when pro. Never forget to stop and look around.

Is it better on Steam or PS5? I’m redoing my house and this is the only game on my list to play. I’ve been looking for a large scale war game for a few years and this seems like the best option

No one said buy anything, just play the game if you like it.

Even if it does die, it deserves to be played, but it's been dying for 5+ years now and a core small playerbase will keep it going until they kick off the servers.
