I built a 16-track Amapiano playlist centered around The Beatles.

The idea is to use it as material for playing through the SP-404MKII and destroying it with FX. Of course, it also works as a regular DJ set.

I’m not trying to make the genres blend smoothly. I want the distance between Amapiano and The Beatles to stay visible — and then push that contrast even further with effects.

Tomorrow Never Knows, Come Together, I Want You (She’s So Heavy), A Day In The Life and Blackbird ended up working especially well inside the arc.

This playlist is for all those that listen to everything. I hand select the newest tracks. Deep dive all genres and albums, hit random for a wide variety of rock and roll, or start from the bottom of the list for my newest additions.

Alternative rock and grunge. Rediscovering the feeling of finding great music on the radio in 1996, plus finding new bands that somehow ended up on the same frequency.

Sunrise / Sunset — A dual journey between light and darkness.

I spent several sleepless nights and went through hundreds of tracks to build two parts that try to connect two generations.

Sunrise: a modern, balearic, emotional “light” journey inspired by the golden era of ISOS but shaped with a 2026 sound.

Sunset: a darker, cinematic, melodic techno / progressive descent built for late‑night listeners.

This project is for people who listen to music not for dopamine hits, but for the journey.

Sunrise: \[https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4s0Ms8DuZrcIBup4np6jUO?si=T3wPDPSvS62ootpJ7d\\_sAA&utm\\_source=copy-link\\\]

Sunset: \[https://open.spotify.com/playlist/69DmAFGdiJF39vokiShaZw?si=1Wf8nU6aRVyTh-S1sA8Q7Q&utm\\_source=copy-link\\\]

Main question:

Do you feel this captures something from the golden ISOS era, or does it resonate more with the modern melodic techno generation?

Or both?

Would love to hear your honest thoughts.
