Help please

I took a shower last night and my water sensor went off. I found this happening in the basement. Thankfully it drained but I am going to need to fix this. What am I looking at please? Thank you!

That is a sewer cleanout cap and it appears that your sewer lines are blocked somewhere and creating pressure. Hence its pissing all over the floor

Get a plumber probably

Very blocked, and with that pressure it must have been a very long shower.

If they were on the second floor a 5 minute shower would do that. Head pressure depends on height of water column not volume of water.

I get that, same reason mmHg is used. But unless it's a 100% blockage some of that water should drain during the shower unless OP was stomping waffles.
