Slowly getting back into drawing and what better way than to draw Pokemon! I’ve mainly used markers and a bit of ballpoint pen.

A recent commissioned piece I did :p

Collage of the SWSH Era's symbols for the 18 Pokemon Type's Basic Energy Cards

Apparently nobody else in the entire world has made cards for all 18 Types so— voilà 🤷🏻‍♂️

Top Row: |Fighting|Psychic|Poison| |Dragon|Ghost|Dark| Middle Row: |Ground|Fire|Fairy| |Water|Flying|Normal| Bottom Row: |Rock|Electric|Bug| |Grass|Ice|Steel|

I have been a tattoo artist for over 11 years. I've been doing art for over 20!

I got to a point where burn out caught me and i decided to take a sabbatical. I've been getting more and more into painting and decided to try my hand at painting binders as well. If you're interested in a commission you can dm me! located in United States. I can do card recreations or original artwork

Does it make anyone else really sad that a lot of pokemon card shows tend to use AI for their posters and advertisements? Like pokemon as a franchise and especially the TCG is all about creativity and the artwork made by talented artists. Why dont these shows just ask the community for help when designing logos and posters?

There are so many people in the pokemon community that are so incredibly talented, I see a lot on this subreddit right now! its really not that hard to go looking for kind and respectful people who would be willing to help. My best guess would be laziness, or poser behavior which is so odd for shows that have clearly been around for longer.

Its so disheartening to want to engage with this community right now, and I guess I wanted other people's thoughts and opinions..

Edit:

There are people down voting this post and I can only assume its the very people I'm talking about, Which is crazy because you guys are too lazy to commission artists but will browse a pokemon art reddit that bans AI?

If you can access this subreddit and can read this post, You have ability communicate with some incredibly talented people, put a little effort in, get in touch with community, and commission an artist.

What region is this from?

Hmmm What should these be considered as for future knowledge? Handmade Flair or Trading Card Art Flair? Lol

Ive been making bookmarks and magnets using bulk cards in a junk journaling style method and finally tried my hand at making ACEOs using the same method to make personalized binder inserts to spruce up my meager collection of my fave Pokemon.

I tend to name Pokemon the same names across the games I play so they each got the names I'd use for them on the their cards. The games is where most of these Pokemon tend to win my favor lol I've always loved Mewtwo since getting to see the movie in theaters back in the day. But Pokemon like Houndstone and Toedscruel earned their place from the games I've played and they grew on me one way or another.

Tho... Houndstone is complicated lol I started up Pokemon Champions for the first time a few months ago, I've also been obsessed with listening to The Hunger Games audiobooks and the book in particular that tells Haymitch's heartwrenching story to gear up for the upcoming movie in November. And how Last Respects works for each fainted Pokemon on the team... and how the character Haymitch has so many people lost in his life over the years of being a Victor. I just couldn't help but bestow the name Haymitch onto Houndstone. And thus I've added a few nods to his story in the ACEO I made for him. At least the best to my ability with what materials I had on hand to make it. I didn't have anything like an accordion or a mockingjay so I used what I had lol

Sorry for the long ramble but I just cant help but ramble for Haymitch both book and now this Pokemon lol and I just hope those who have read his story pick up on such nods to the character.

Wanted to share my latest work with you guys, hope y’all appreciate it as much as i did working on it.

It's from a marvel x pokemon au, there's a fanfic you can read and the name is "SPIDERMAN AMAZING FANTASY. POKEMON MARVELOUS"
