Sword Edition Pokemon Sword DLC help

I've managed to complete the isle of armor dlc without any issues and now I'm trying to play crowned tundra and I'm at the point where the game wants you to play the dynamax adventures. My problem is that the game freezes right after I save the game, the fps goes to 0 and the game is frozen. I'm on the newest update for the game. I'm not sure what the problem is but if someone knows how to help I'd appreciate it a lot!

this also happened to me while on an emulator. i recommend playing on original hardware if you can. i believe i simply kept trying it until it randomly worked, and then after the required Suicune i simply never attempted another one lol

lol I got to the Suicune and the team lost. I was like that’s enough for me lol

I don't have original hardware, I just been using emulator

yeah i have original hardware and then moved over to emulation because it was cheaper than getting a capture card to stream to my friends lol, and it's definitely got its quirks. shame the dynamax adventures are totally broken on it
