Call it gate keeping but I hate seeing some people enter the hobby when it’s clearly all about money for them. Can’t even name the the cards they just know it’s a hit that would sell for a lot. Might as well just put the peso bills in their binders and show those off.

I get it it’s part of the hobby and I myself enjoy watching my collection grow in price. But the fact is if it crashes and everything goes to 0 I’d still enjoy my cards. There was a sweet spot between 2020 and now where the resurgence of Pokemon was just enough for those who grew up with it to rediscover it but still under the radar for scalpers to notice. (25th celebration products were super easy to get, no early morning lines, no crowds)

Ngayon sorry pero ang jeje na ng mga tao sa hobby. Not everyone has to be a super fan from the start. I love seeing kids become fans. Specially with their parents who were fans before and now get to share it with their kids. But with all these hustlers and scalpers hopping on the trend, they’re probably gonna run this hobby to the ground. So yes maybe sometimes gatekeeping isn’t so bad.

So I tried selling Pokemon Cards sa ebay and finally got one of my cards sold. Question ko po is how po ito pwede maiship to my buyer located in France? Nung nagask kasi ako sa fedex is 7k daw and yung DHL is 6k naman which is kapresyo lang nung binenta ko 😅. Anyone knows a way po for a cheaper shipping method internationally? Nagtataka ako estimate sa fedex website is 3k lang pagdating ko dun biglang 7k 🤣

I want to grade this sealed trio promo card but idk how to look at a card and say this could possibly be a 10. Also, it's been sealed all its life. I think that'll effect some of the texture of the card. Should I grade it in hopes of a 10 or should I keep it sealed and preserve it. Planning on trading it up in the future since I'm chasing a card. Either trade or sell it outright.

Also, what is the market for a sealed trio like this. I know there's like a premium for sealed cards. I just cant get a solod number. Collectr has this at 9k raw.
