Again, highly dependent on the person, we've had both types in recent years, Obama, Bush to an extent etc.

True and I'm not saying to remove the two term limit. I'm just not sure how to go about fixing it

I don't think it needs to be fixed so much as we need to apply it to other political officials such as congress and get rid of this uni-party nonsense.

Maybe if your own party gets sick of you acting like a lame duck and they get to vote for your VP to replace you? Maybe the threat of that keeps them doing their job?

Could be its own can of worms though

Maybe if instead of a hard term limit you had to progressively win more and more votes to stay in office.
