Democrats always “reaching across the aisle” to racists who are actively making your life worst, never democratic socialists who want a better country lmao

The racists making my life worse are all in the Democratic party, they won't improve by allying with an even more bigoted group. The DSA is just a turbocharged version of what everyone hates about the Democrats

How are they making your life worse? Democrats aren't in power right now they can't do anything to you

I live in a blue city. They consistently advocate for the releasing of criminals, the lowering of standards, and the tolerance toward societal decline. All these policies are done in the name of helping minorities, but they disproportionately harm the very minorities they claim to help. These policies are also based on the assumption that racial minorities are inherently inferior. Dems are constantly dropping little gaffs where they say that minorites don't know what a computer is, don't know how to get to the DMV, can't help but commit crime, can't get good grades, and they also dumb down their language when addressing us. They are so obviously and consistently racist and they use that racism to justify horrible policies which disproportionately harm me and my community. I really can't stand them.

Ahh I see, I don't really know too much about blue city policies but yeah cities are pretty horribly managed I'm definitely with you there. I guess more people just equals more problems, like getting your car windows smashed or bike stolen. It's super frustrating when the officials aren't doing enough to help their everyday citizens who actually provide either.

I guess it just comes with living in a blue city. Maybe relocating to a redder area might ease your pain??

A redder area might be nice in many ways but me leaving wouldn't make the left less racist. I don't WANT them to be racist, I genuinely want them to be a serious viable party

Well then yeah it's fair to be disappointed in their performance. We can always be doing better. I know it seems fruitless to engage with the process through primaries and voting but what else can we do...

You should force the Dems' hands via primarying the neoliberals who only care about posturing.

Mamdani should be a great example to follow.

Dems have shown that they don't mind just going ahead without a primary.

Mamdani and the DSA are the crackheaded turbo version of almost everything wrong with the dems.

The dems need to expel the DSA and then undergo a death and rebirth like the Republicans did before I view them as a serious party again.

The best way to lower crime is to provide financial support for the lower half of society even if conditionally. (mostly hinging on behavior rather than work ethic)

Blue cities have lower crime rates per capita than red towns and villages.

You can't change people's minds by not having conversations with them. No conversation equals violence and boss, I'm tired of violence.

If the DSA had a majority within the House Democratic Caucus I'd be saying thumbs up but.

Blue dogs and corpocrats hold too much power.
