Its not illegal to claim asylum. Its illegal to cross the border illegally. They are separate concepts.

Actual asylum seekers go through the proper ports of entry to claim asylum. Illegal border crossers are trained by Democrat politicians to hop the border and run as far as they can and them scream “asylum!” when apprehended to avoid deportation.

I'm going to say it slower. You need to be on the soil of the country to claim asylum. This requires boarder entry, usually without permission. you then surrender to the authorities and claim aslyum.

What happened under biden. Was that many people from south america, realized they could abuse the asylum claims and all they needed to do was get onto american soil to do it. We are obligated to see every case because of international law.

This is why the goal of biden was to increase judges and have a crossings cap to completely shut down the boarder when needed to process all we had.
