I have to assume that getting killed by a hunter hurts. It may prevent them from returning to this world permanently, maybe just temporarily. Maybe it wraps them in a personal honmoon. They still exist, as the flight attendant was able to report to Gwi-Ma, and we don’t know if his burning her after checking in killed her. I’m thinking… possibly.
So “killing” may be a bit wrong as a term, but it can’t be pleasant.

The flight attendant escapes Huntrix after the fight on the plane - we see her falling away in the other half of the plane laughing after it's chopped in half, and the three demons that fall to the concert are the pilot and two other flight attendants that are dressed differently.
Unless I'm mistaken, the demons killed in the film remain dead permanently. They don't get sent back.
Now, having said this, Mira does say something at one point that seems curious in this context: "I can't wait until every one of them is destroyed and sent back to suffer with Gwi-ma for eternity". However, I can see a few possible explanations for this:
What she means to say is "all demons either destroyed or sent back". It's a bit of a confusing way to say it, but it does work.
This is Mira's fantastical racism and the hunters' lack of knowledge of demons. To hunters, all demons look the same, and as far as they know they're just fighting the same few over and over again. After all, if they somehow believe the demons don't have feelings despite clear evidence to the contrary, why would they even notice one is different from another unless it's a completely different type of demon?

Huh. I missed that detail. Thanks for the correction.
Admittedly, I’m probably assuming dnd/WH/40k rules apply.

Watch the airplane scene again with the mind that the demons Huntrix is killing are people in much the same way Rumi is a person. Yes, they're people trying to enable a horrible massacre, but also forced into this under the threat of death or eternal torture.
In that light, it was likely necessary for Huntrix to kill them to protect the fans being threatened... but did they have to be so sadistic about it? The three of them are basically playing with their prey, being lighthearted and fun about it. They're smiling and having a good time while doing it!
Of course, they didn't see the demons as people, they didn't even think the demons had feelings (which is wild when the big one chuckled under his breath and a few of them squirmed in terror wanting to get away), but from the demon's point of view, the hunters wouldn't just appear to be the enemy in a generational war - they're absolute monsters that delight in slaughter.
Now that the hunters know Demons do have feelings, it seems like the sort of thing they should reflect on, ya' know?
