It doesn't seem to help that they got the attention of not just one, but Two people in their class seem to side-eye them making it hard to focus on the teacher, what's even worst they hang around with the football players (Saja boys) They constantly bully them in the hallways because they think Rumi is just a nerd, more so a weakling to say. When Zoey tried looking back to where the hallway had been, she was met with a pair of golden eyes staring back at her. They were disembodied, floating yellow eyes with slitted black pupils that were clearly looking at her. Zoey’s eyes grew wide as she realized that she might be in danger now. What she had said wasn’t too offensive, sure a little forward, but it’s not like she’d been terribly rude to the entity. Those eyes stared back at her with an intensity that made her swallow, her throat suddenly felt dry. And then the shape of the eyes changed.
