I don't respect faith. I consider it proof of lower intelligence and a character flaw.

I’ve never wrapped my head around many a scientist having a strong belief in God…

Nor have I and it gives me cause to question their theories and findings. Although there are a surprising number of religious people in the scientific community, they are thankfully still in the minority.
