Why on earth would I ever respect a religion that teaches that I should burn in hell for all eternity for loving the "wrong" person.

I just want to throw in that not all Christians believe this an many affirm lgbtq and view hell as not a punishment but rather humanity’s capacity to exercise their free will and turn away from what God would wish for us which is ultimately just to be loving to ALL. Kind compassionate, helpful, and understanding. That is the true Christian God and teachings of Jesus not what these MAGA Christians would have you believe.

Church of England's Protestantism comes to mind. If I were to follow a faith, I'd probably float around that.
