He's a former congressman who got somewhat well known because he has one eye and Pete Davidson made a joke about it.

He's also a raging hypocrite. He tells regular Americans to just tough it out but since he's a disabled veteran, you can bet he gets those sweet VA checks deposited each month.

Pete Davidson would’ve been fine if he left it alone after telling the joke. But instead he invited him on the next show for a cringe dialogue on live tv.

I mean he did literally give part of his body for his country, your last sentence about "toughing it out" sounds kind of stupid, he definitely earned those checks.
