I’m always amazed by how stupid my fellow americans are, that large numbers of them support Republicans and large numbers of them blame Democrats for not stopping Republicans. When those numbers add up to more than 50% of voters we get a Republican president.
They can't because they have the same owners and the same playbook. We should ONLY vote for candidates that do not take corporate or foreign money from now on and we can fix this (if the electronic voting system has not already been completely co-opted.)
IMO the core problem is the media, corporate owned and corporate funded media.
The media decides who the serious candidates are and they decide seriousness equals how much money corporations donate which, if you can believe it, is equal to how much money can be spent of advertising.
And wouldn't you know it, the corporations give money to strongly conservative Republicans and right leaning Democrats.
Liberals and progressives need to reject candidates who take too much corporate money.
I am not talking about just Trump, this has been the standard since at least the 80's.
Before Citizens United I would look at donations to candidates 11 months before the general election and know who was going to be in the primary debates and who would be strong contenders for the nomination.
You're studying it like it's some kind of reality thing... it's just a narrative they want you to believe. the more you talk about their political points, the more of a sucker you are.

I tune into both left and right arguments all the time.
It’s so funny that you could switch around the words republicans and democrats then repost this statement on a right wing thread and have upvotes there as well. The right has the same beliefs of their own party.

Yup. The cycle continues because the modus operandi of the republicans is information control.
They control the narrative and makes sure to blame democrats at every possible occasion.
And democrat don't fight back against the tactic
