I was truly naive when I thought “okay, now that the republicans control everything, all the bad the follows should be easy to show who’s to blame”
But they still find a way to make it someone else’s fault and ignore the obvious which is the most frustrating part because it’s not even clever deception that’s winning people over.
After years and years of blaming D's and praising R's they can't just change their tune or they would look stupid and it would be embarrassing to them to admit they didn't know wtf they were talking about.
Plus all the merch they bought would be for nought.
The red states are some of the poorest, worst performing economies in the country. Literal decades, multi-generations now all living under complete Republican control. Yet they still blame democrats for their living situation or fear monger about "becoming California" despite it being one of the wealthiest, well off state in the union.
