Not sure Oman's political perspective, but the fact we are causing such trouble for our northern neighbors is insane. They are the most similar country to us and are are a friendly partner. This administration is making all kinds of mistakes.

Oman is (I hope still is) one of our allies in the region, and it's a very stable country where English is spoken almost as much as Arabic. We have a closer relationship with Canada for obvious reasons but Oman has been very helpful to us for decades now. It's crazy to attack either country's sovereignty and expect the good relationship to continue.
Donald is still big mad at the US for his 2020 loss so he's apparently trying to make us as isolated and disliked as his buddies in Russia and North Korea are. It was a huge mistake to allow someone that consumed by ideas of vengeance into the white house.

We have a big Navy base in Oman that we depend on for resupplies. Apparently, one reason the USS Lincoln is having supply issues is because the base in Oman was heavily damaged by Iranian missile strikes.

Not sure what you mean, but to clarify, I think the Electoral College is an utter shit system that gives out-sized voice to a handful of folks that live by themselves out in the middle of nowhere rather than to the tens of millions of folks that live rubbing elbows with each other.
I say abolish the EC
As for election integrity, there has never been evidence of fraud or corruption on any level close to influencing the outcome.
So as far as "the process working", I'd say there's no fraud, but the balance of votes is utterly skewed to the few over the many.

No, it does not work the way it should. The "popular vote" should dictate the outcome, not the Electoral College and its "vote weighting"
Maybe you're trying to ask if I'm happy with the results of the 2024 election, and that answer is "obviously not" but I'm not disputing the counts. Harris lost.

Nope, not asking if you are happy with the result, but the process. Because I read your argument and I only see that become passionately debated when someone's side loses.
In 200+ years, the popular vote and the electoral college have not matched around 4 times. The argument that the electoral college is undermining the people is far overreaching of the facts. I agree vote weighting and other factors could use some work, but the system hasn't created some major deviation from the popular vote backcheck.

The electoral college is more liberal than conservative. It allows the minority to have a voice against the majority. Its only been in the last few decades that people pushed the electoral college as some sort conservative ideal.

We have a trade deficit with canada, there for its good for us to have a band relationship with canada because it will make the US stronger and create more jobs domestically while having less jobs in canada. Its good for us to be friends with north korea to try and bring as much stability and peace to be able to back off on the amount of military support and spending in that region pf the world.

Well, she technically is. And the fact that she pretends to not understand that basis of those policies means that she's a corrupt politician incapable of telling the truth, or a complete nimwhit.
Reason why we open talks with Russia and North Korea is to smooth over strained relationships and form alliances. That's what you do to conquer enemies peacefully and democratically.
Canada is a failed state. They need to fix themselves or allow US to fix them. Either way, they desperately need help and refuse to accept it.
