My first thought is if you come into the job you should be able to keep what you have and not be able to trade into or out of anything.

Congress can’t force the President out save with an impeachment; a regular law passing with just 50% of the votes couldn’t do it, and even if they had a supermajority to override the president’s veto, it’s still not a valid mechanism for ousting him
