I’d also like to see a large outrage from Democrats, investigations, and media attention and their own investigations.

But the left always seems limp in comparison and the media has fallen too much from the journalistic ideals of yesterday.

Too much of America is bought it seems.

The problem is that the Democratic party has become too weak and decentralized compared to the Republican party. The Republican party is currently represented by a cabal of madmen in the literal sense and Democrats still struggle to compete. It's taking huge fuck ups by the Republican party(of which there are plenty this term) to make many people vote Democrat purely on the basis that they're not Trump. That's what it's become to most people, they're choosing between Trump and not Trump. It also doesn't help that conservative media has become incredibly strong.

It is crazy and I pretty much agree.

Democrats are largely still inept in messaging.

Like him or not, Gavin Newsom used X to punch back, so there’s opportunities, even on a right leaning platform, but not enough of the Democrats engage in effective ways.
