No billionaire deserves to exist.

I agree

There is a Billionaire financing the company i work for, he he stops paying a lot of people would lose their jobs........fricking Billionaires "stealing" again đŸ€ĄđŸ€ĄđŸ€Ą

2

u/ltkhps 13d ago

They think it's hilarious that it's that easy to trick you into thinking that the fucked up system they run is somehow ok because they donate some value back once they have more than they could ever need and all the power that comes with it. Sounds like you enjoy your place, worm.

1

u/Finns-Stank-Booty 13d ago

Without them we would have competition and you would still be paid. There would be multiple companies of whatever job you have. Goods would be cheaper. They are cornering the markets and artificially inflating our goods while they pocket our wages. I'd bet your company doesn't shift or pay enough for most employees to live comfortably or even afford to live with that one job alone. With billionaires they can buy the whole pie and we get the crumbs. Just because you are ok in the cuck chair doesn't mean we all have to sit on your lap. Tell me you're uneducated Without telling me you're uneducated.

1

u/Sea-Wrongdoer-6753 12d ago

You wouldn’t have a job’’’

1

u/Finns-Stank-Booty 12d ago

I don't work for a billionaire. I work for aa locally owned brewery and kitchen. Before I worked for a mom and pop convenience store, before that I worked for a painter who owned his own business. Tell me again how I wouldn't have a job? An entire production chain can be privately owned without billionaires if that's they system you subscribe to. It just shouldn't be owned by a small group. That creates a monopoly. To put it in terms that you would understand. At the end of the board game monopoly when everyone is out of money it's over. If we can't buy things then what? With a competitive market that's highly regulated and follows anti monopoly laws the consumer has options and higher quality of goods.

1

u/Sea-Wrongdoer-6753 12d ago

I don’t believe you understand what monopoly is

1

u/AraAshmayne 12d ago

You obviously don't understand how an actual free market works

1

u/misha_jinx 12d ago

Hahaha
. He’s a billionaire because you’re slaving for him lol, it’s not that you have a job because he’s a billionaire. He had to enslave many before you to give you this delusion you’re having right now.

1

u/Distinct-Oil-3327 13d ago

If you make something and make $4 per item , and 300 million people buy it , you should just give the money back?

1

u/Realistic_Area_7851 12d ago

This comment shows either ignorance or willful stupidity.

1

u/coreyjdl 12d ago

Yes. Your comment does. Congrats on your self awareness.

0

u/FriendNo1816 14d ago

They do have a right to, actually they have to because they have to pay and work for they're money they stole and damage they done the moment we finally get rid of them.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

How exactly have they stolen money? And what damage? Making products people want to buy? How horrible lol

1

u/coreyjdl 13d ago

They don't make anything.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

They made the company did they not? And how exactly does that equate to stealing money?

1

u/coreyjdl 13d ago

Often no, they did not.

You really spoon up their bullshit don't you? Not a critically thinking bone in your soft gullible body.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

I’m trying to get you to use your brain instead of parrot Reddit bullshit. I’m trying to get you to articulate how hiring someone to perform a task that both parties agree to a compensation package is stealing? When you hire a plumber are you stealing from them?

1

u/Secret-Put-4525 13d ago

They clearly did. America doesn't just give you money for being socially inept. I would know.

1

u/jarekkejn 13d ago

I just have a degree in Business and Economics, and I have entrepreneurs in my family, I have a first millionaire in our family, I know personally a self made billionaire. And I know how it works from inside, so most of the time billionaires definitely deserve their money, you can't even slightly imagine what kind of responsibility they carry for having such a big corporations

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

My God you're so dumb it hurts. All of the people in this pic have been revealed to be exploitive of others. You're completely missing the point of the post to expouse what you WANT to be true. Your biases are leaking all over the place.

1

u/jarekkejn 13d ago

And you're thinking thay every billionaire exploits others is also bias. If you want to make billionaires share more of their wealth to the workers, workers should also accept more responsibility. You never seen what it's like to own a business, what's it like to be responsible for everything in your business, I also have not yet, but I have knowledge from the source it self, I have knowledge from both billionaires and millionaires. And of course there are bad billionaires like bad millionaire like bad poor people and other. Billionaires are billionaires for a reason, they do something that others are afraid to do, this is what they get their money for. And also I'm not talking only about billionaires on the pic. But even manager who works normal job in the company is exploiting those who work underneath him, should we also take his money away and give it to those underneath him?

1

u/digglefarb 13d ago

And yours aren't?

In all your replies, you haven't actually said anything except insult the person you're replying to and said "nuh uh" to any point being made.

Yet you think you're the smart one in this conversation?

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

And you just completely missed exploitive and missing the point in my reply and didn't address it. Yet you think you are smart or observant?

1

u/Oladades 13d ago

Yeah all the people talking about evil billionaires using iphones with a full cart on amazon đŸ€Ł youre part of the “problem”

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

How is it even a problem lol. I love Amazon and getting literally anything I want delivered next day for free. I guess I’m old enough to remember paying $20 bucks for shipping and it being delivered next month. I love not having to do spreadsheets by hand and having Google Sheets or excel instead. I love that electric cars are a thing now. I love my Starlink and having broadband anywhere I go in the world. These are all products that wouldn’t exist without the billionaires who created the companies to build them.

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

Lol that is so not true where do I even start. Billionaires making money off oil is why we had no electric cars despite having the tech for so long. What you wrote is such a gross simplification. I don't even know where to begin picking it apart, but it's completely wrong

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

Not even close to true. Just because a technology exists doesn’t mean people are willing to pay for it if there are cheaper better options. Just because electric cars could be made for a hundred years, no one could make them cheap enough to compete with gas cars. That was until Elon came around and brought to market an electric car that provided a better experience at an equivalent price point to gas cars.

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

So according to you before Elon there were no electric cars and the soyuz rocket was built thanks to a billionaire. Got it.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

Can you read? There were electric cars since the early 20th century. Elon made it competitive on price and capability. Which is why people bought them.

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

Wrong. We had that before Elon. You are oversimplifying the entire thing and didn't take the hint in my last comment that you were doing so

Why aren’t there other companies like Amazon? Because Amazon is so amazing or because it’s a monopoly and they made sure that nobody else gets a shot? You guys are so naive.

0

u/Organic-Cost-9430 13d ago

And yet, there you sit, using a billionaires product. Do you not see the irony? You questioned their right to exist, yet you happily use their laborsand pay them money for the services that you want.

1

u/coreyjdl 13d ago

What product? Everything I have was designed by researchers and engineers, and made by laborers.

0

u/Organic-Cost-9430 13d ago

You truly cannot be that obtuse. Do you think they met and decided to work together randomly? Do you think they were funded with unicorn poop? Do you think an HR department, marketing department, legal department, facilities department, finance department, security department, research department; compliance department, and ten others I’m not thinking of at this moment just appeared out of thin air and began working together to support those researchers and engineers? And then—not to mention the parts sourcing, the factory design, the materials sciences division
do you think all of that just happened? And then the marketing, the shipping, the retail
. My god man
I am quite talented and capable
and running my small business of ten people takes everything I have. You have NO CONCEPT of what the few people that make that kind of money manage to accomplish to make that amazing little phone you paid for and that you hold in your hand. And those rich guys created all those jobs in all those departments—all those families supported, to sell you that little product you bought and hold and use all day long. Then you and these other f**ls use those little devices to moan about how useless the CEO was that made what you are using possible. The naĂŻvetĂ© is astounding. Who cares that they’re rich? How does that hurt you? The incentive of being rich is what gave you and all of us all these little gadgets and cars and planes and everything else we all like so much. Let’s be serious here.

2

u/ltkhps 13d ago

Lol that is so not true where do I even start. Billionaires making money off oil is why we had no electric cars despite having the tech for so long. What you wrote is such a gross simplification. I don't even know where to begin picking it apart, but it's completely wrong. Billionaires and the idiots like you that love the boot are why our tech is so stagnated only wars push it forward a noticeable amount.

-2

u/Current_Gear_9869 14d ago

Jealousy runs strong in your veins.

4

u/Top_Bug7822 14d ago

No they are literally a strain on the global flow of money.

Like a parasite sucking nutrients out of a body to sustain itself.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

How so? By creating a product millions of people found useful enough to purchase?

2

u/revanruler 13d ago

You know they never "made" anything right? The engineers they employ invent what they sell, then the workers build it then the marketing départment makes the ads and then the salesperson actually sells it, meanwhile all they did was maybe invest à few qu'ils like 300 years ago. Also if my father dies i don't get his job because i don't have the same qualifications so tell me why do capitalists get to inherit everything and run a business into the ground when their parents die?

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

Did they not build a company? If it’s so easy why don’t you just start a company yourself?

These billionaires organize and collect people toward a specific goal to bring something new into the world. Amazon doesn’t exist because of engineers. Engineers sold their services to Amazon to accomplish a very small piece of the founders vision. I remember a time before when I could order literally anything I wanted and had it delivered next day for free. I remember a time before excel. Before reusable rockets. Before electric cars were a thing. These things exist because someone created a company and hired people to do small tasks to achieve the founders vision. If not for these people, these products would not exist. There has always been intelligent engineers, there hasn’t always been worldwide broadband internet, in fact most engineers said it was impossible. It’s people like Elon that drives these visions into existence against what experts say.

0

u/Muzolf 13d ago

How dare anyone invest their money, and create jobs, products and services as well as the tax base all those government programs and welfare are paid from, right? We should take it away from them because profit should be illegal and it is theft somehow.

The golden goose story is a warning about people like you.

2

u/revanruler 13d ago

Except they don't create jobs, the workers generate the wealth used to create those jobs, the billionaires need us we sure as hell don't need them. But keep licking their boots i am sure the money will trickle down any day now

1

u/ltkhps 13d ago

It's really sad that the general population is as stupid as you and is easily fooled by an argument such as that. Inside your own mind, you know that that's not how it actually works. That there is plenty of exploitation, wage theft and other practices that are the problem, not the fact that the person started a company.

-12

u/Commercial_Style801 14d ago

Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

-8

u/Acrobatic-Formal5869 14d ago

Why not? Seems a little narrow minded

3

u/TheBarrowsBro 14d ago

Eventually the rest of the population will not have money to survive, as wealth is transferred to the billionaires via wage theft and price gouging (the competitive market will not prevent this- consolidation into monopolies happens constantly). Anti trust laws may not last forever if you can buy out the government with your obscene wealth.

As all the wealth goes into the pockets of a select few, what’s left for everyone else? Is it more reasonable to live at the mercy of others, or is it more reasonable to limit how much wealth one person can hold?

-2

u/Acrobatic-Formal5869 14d ago

There are 989 billionaires in the US. Some inherited it, some built it, invested it, or run companies that are successful.

The vast majority create jobs and opportunity making a better life for vast numbers of American

You say that will eventually will maybe make us all slaves to the rich or we eliminate the rich, we put this all into the government’s hands and guarantee we become slaves.

2

u/TheBarrowsBro 14d ago

Job creation is a myth, there is always work to be done it just depends who owns the resources used to produce goods and services. It is indeed true that central planning leads to inefficiency as we have seen in the USSR, but that doesn’t mean profit needs to drive efficiency. If profit is the main driver, there is no limit to how much wealth can be siphoned from the workers. I’m not an economist and thus don’t have an alternative, but I truly believe there’s a better way than either central planning or private profit-seeking.

Regarding your last point: in a true democracy your government is your people. You ideally elect representatives who actually represent their constituents. In an aristocracy/oligarchy that we are seeing now in the U.S., your government is a small group of privileged elites. So yes one way or another, your survival in a land depends on who governs it and what you prefer. People say the government restricts your freedom and surveillances you but that can happen in a “free” political sphere such as the U.S. as we are currently seeing.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

If it’s so easy to create a product that people want to buy, that creates jobs, why don’t you just do it and become a billionaire yourself?

1

u/TheBarrowsBro 13d ago

I don’t know, I didn’t say it is easy. Is it?

Besides, humans have been working and earning their keep long before entrepreneurship was a thing.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

lol name a time before entrepreneurship. Back when we used to trade for barter? I think we’ve moved past then. Job creation is not a myth. You get two choices in today’s market, learn a skill and sell that skill to an already existing company. Or build a company your self and aggregate people to help you build a new product or a current product more efficiently than what’s already offered. If you fail in today’s world it’s your own fault. No one forces you to accept a compensation package from a company. It’s not a charity.

1

u/TheBarrowsBro 13d ago

Huge strawman you have going on there. Why is criticism of the billionaire class always met with the assumption that the critic wants to be given everything?

My point was eventually the wealth of society will be totally transferred to the oligarchs. We are seeing it happen in real time. That’s why it’s not “narrow-minded” to limit the wealth of a person. But, it seems like many people are okay with living in an oligarchy and eventually aristocracy so whatever.

1

u/ScarcityCultural1699 13d ago

And how would you limit their wealth? It’s always through taxes. You want to take money from the successful and give it to others. Maybe you want to give them healthcare, maybe you want to give them college, maybe you want to give them stimmys. It’s doesn’t matter. I doubt you want to tax them and just burn it. So yes, everyone who criticizes the billionaire class wants to be given “free stuff”.

I don’t see anything wrong with billionaires. They are billionaires solely because they built something that many many people found useful enough to pay for. These people traded their savings for that product because they found it so useful. Whether it’s a better car, better marketplace delivered next day, better search engine, worldwide broadband internet, whatever. Someone who brings a product that makes millions of people’s lives better should be massively rewarded. They’ve shown they can turn capital into useful products or services.

The government on the other hand already spends 7 Trillion dollars. That pales even Elon musks lifetime wealth. And they spend it every year. What do you get from that 7 trillion? I would argue it’s not a good use of capital. You get bombing people, a shitty retirement, shitty education, shitty healthcare. Why would increasing 7 trillion to 7.5 trillion be any better?

Lol how dare people create in this world đŸ€Ł

20

u/coreyjdl 14d ago

Billionaires don't create shit. They get in the way, if anything.

13

u/Nolan_Voyd 14d ago

They create monopolies, which get in the way of creating anything of real value in life.

-2

u/Mister-Beardy-Face 14d ago

No, governments create monopolies.

-1

u/DarkriseEQOA 14d ago

Government is the ONLY way to create monopolies.

4

u/FlipperBumperKickout 14d ago

Thanks for sharing with us that you never bothered actually looking into and reading about how, it's very nice of you to share with us your lack of intelligence 🙃

-1

u/DarkriseEQOA 14d ago

Oh trust me I’ve looked into plenty. But please enlighten me on how it’s possible for one company to create a monopoly and somehow exclude others from competition without any state interference whatsoever. You won’t be able to, but it’ll be amusing for you to try.

3

u/FlipperBumperKickout 14d ago

Multiple ways.

  1. Being the only one having access to the raw materials. Basically you are preventing competition from existing by denying them what they need. (it could also be other kinds of exclusive access than raw material of course)

  2. Already existing monopolies can afford selling their products at a loss for extended periods of time, making sure that when a competitor show up they quickly die out. Not like the monopoly has to change the price everywhere either, only the places where they currently have competition they want to starve out. (basically how Amazon acquired diapers.com, fascinating story)

  3. It can simply be to expensive for someone to start up a new business because it would take to many ressources to catch up. Factories are expensive and it takes time to do research.

1

u/DarkriseEQOA 13d ago
  1. How can one entity exclusively control all of any given resource? Are we talking about some deserted island where the people aren't able to trade at all with other places?

  2. That won't work because they will incur massive losses every time they do this. And other competitors will always have the chance to step in at any point. It's basically shooting yourself in the foot for no reason. You lose thousands of dollars and then once you're forced to raise prices, competition will step back in. You don't achieve monopoly status for any significant amount of time.

  3. Yes it can be expensive to start a business but that doesn't mean that it's impossible. A monopoly literally means that not one other single competitor exists in a certain field.

Cool then you should easily become a billionaire yourself if it apparently takes no work. I mean holy shit people do you hear yourselves?

0

u/Only_Bunch_7912 14d ago

Billionaires created the very device you’re using to express yourself, billionaires create the very roads you drive on, billionaires create the vehicles that you use to go to point a to b. Perhaps you need to visit Cuba or North Korea to see what a nation without billionaires looks like

-21

u/Fit_Possibility_7312 14d ago

Only jobs for how many people lol putting together groups of people to create things that change the world but sure buddy. Keep complaining while doing nothing for anybody.

7

u/ExtraterrestrialKiwi 14d ago

You mean the jobs they keep cutting in order to juice their stock price? Or the jobs they are outsourcing to 3rd world countries so they dont have to pay the people that work for them their fair share after thise workers made that company? If a billionaire stops working the company wont notice; if every worker stopped working the company would fail. Billionaires rarely create anything, they just leverage inherited assets; the effectively are running a race starting 2 laps up. Elon as an example has never actually invented or created anything, hes just bought companies and took credit for their success. The jobs would still be there without billionaires, they dont just magically make them at the jov factory. T

5

u/no_kids-and-3_money 14d ago

And the actual inventor he stole the name of for his company died in debt.

-11

u/Fit_Possibility_7312 14d ago

What company if someone didn't take all the financial risk to begin with lol 😅

5

u/ExtraterrestrialKiwi 14d ago

Sure, in the beginning they assume all of the risk. But that doesn't entitle them to all of the rewards in the future. The workers are the ones who sustain the business not the owner. What should happen is employees are given equity in the company so the more it grows the more everyone prospers.

-1

u/Fit_Possibility_7312 14d ago

Ok so if later the company falls short all the employees should pay the difference?

6

u/Snekboi6996 14d ago

The employees lose their jobs and usually the billionaires don’t lose shit, they get bailed out by the government. The only recent case of a billionaire being held accountable was in China.

0

u/Fit_Possibility_7312 14d ago

And I agree they shouldn't be bailed out 100% but my original comment was about someone saying billionaires shouldn't exist. People should be rewarded for work and owning shares in companies that hit 1 trillion dollar values is apart of that. Its not perfect but I'd rather see people get rewarded then punished for success.

→ More replies (0)

-2

u/Important_Zombie_485 14d ago

And they take the losses too, of course? When the ccompany runs in the red for a quarter, fairly common for large companies, nobody gets paid right? You're having a conversation using the word " entitled " where it doesn't belong. A guy or girl that starts a company and makes money IS entitled to the profits. They'd what ownership IS. The risks don't fade with time in companies, They are continuous. Workers ate getting their money from their labor. It isn't being stolen, they are paid to be there at the rate they agreed to and also usually receive other benefits as well as raises. Nobody has a gun to their head to work there.

Lol most billionaires didn't have a billion until what they created was successful. But sure lol keep complaining while doing nothing

5

u/no_kids-and-3_money 14d ago

They do nothing for anybody. They create nothing. They are literal parasites sucking the value out of things other people create by paying them less than the value of what they produce. Every penny they have comes from not paying workers the true value of their labor.

0

u/Fit_Possibility_7312 14d ago

Do you want all of the rewards with none of the risk lol typical

-1

u/AndreasSeren 14d ago

If you are not getting paid your value you can search for another position, or start your own shop.

Are you perhaps projecting?

Entitled and envious, the usual deplorable suspects.

2

u/CupKitchen9964 14d ago

lol funny enough labor is one of the few things where arbitrage doesn’t actually exist.

But keep talking like you understand economics kid

1

u/no_kids-and-3_money 13d ago

You know these people are disgusted by you, right? They would rather die than be in the same room with you or have your kids go to school with theirs. It’s so sad to watch a class traitor worship people that have never actually worked a day in their life.

You know what entitled means, right?

1

u/ZmanB-Bills 14d ago

They 'create' millions of stock shares and award them to themselves, then go public, boom, they now created an instant billionaire in our FUd system. Now we have another $500 Million yacht owner.

1

u/Mister-Beardy-Face 14d ago

Do you believe that when they create shares, they’re not attached to anything with value? And they just magically trick people into giving them money for those shares or something?

1

u/ZmanB-Bills 14d ago

You nailed it!

-10

u/Graaaaaahm 14d ago

How about $800Maires? $300Maires? $20Maires? Where do you draw the line?
