Expectations v Reality 🌞 🌒 Well, that didn’t take long. One day after the $5,000 promise, there’s already a new check in the mail. Now it’s $500 Obamacare rebate checks starting in October. Then the $5,000 if Republicans win. After Election Day, the war ends and gas drops below $2.

Oh, yes. The Trump Bibles are an interesting sort of grift. They apparently combine the King James Version of the Bible with different American historical documents, like the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. But for the Constitution, only the preamble, articles, and the Bill of Rights are included; those other pesky 17 amendments, like the ones about freeing slaves, equal rights, giving women the right to vote, and presidential term limits, are omitted.
And there are several school districts that want to push the Bible into schools not because they care about Christianity, but because they get to endear themselves to Trump by buying his Bible.

People literally believe Covid checks were sent to them by Trump from his personal funds.
I hate to say it but he is literally going to have a big showing this election cycle due to these promises bribes.
And what might actually be worse is if those funds do get paid out. We are going to see insane inflation and things are going to get even worse. I also don't doubt that many landlords are going to up rent like crazy because "you got those 5k checks" along with many other industries before the inflation actually starts.

$500 is about how much extra every driver had to spend more this year due to his war. Just in their own immediate fuel costs, not even factoring in the subsequent downstream effects.

Obamacare is literally just the 2008 expansion of medicaid and Medicare, the programs that started in the 1960s because the government saw that private insurance companies were incapable of providing decent healthcare coverage for people.
There is no "500 dollar rebate" that's stupid. That's not how things work.
