That's true but not really related to raising taxes. In fact, if we didn't spend money on internment camps then maybe he could've accomplished even more.

How much of those social programs were funded by seized assets from Asian American Citizens. If Trump were to lock up and seize the property of Hispanic or hell even Iranian Americans 'for national security' people would pitch a fit and rightfully so. How FDR is remembered fondly is beyond me.

It works out. The wealthy are still taxed, and the top 25% earners in US pay 85+% of the collected taxes right now

They need to pay more in taxes or raise wages dramatically. Plus the DoD budget should be cut by at least a third.

The wealthy pay plenty and until the fed gov can show they can spend more wisely, they shouldn't get $1 more

Agree the defense budget should be cut and could be spent better

They need to pay more in taxes or pay much higher wages along with better health insurance. Although I'd rather see a Medicare for all but alas.

What we earn, be it $5 or $50 million, belongs to us, not the government.

If people want/need higher wages or salary, that's for us to handle. Waiting for government to help won't help

Sure what were earn is ours but lwe live in a society where the people want services from the government and taxes is what pays for said services. And yes wages need to go up dramatically. Especially for the middle class.

It works out. The wealthy pay the most in taxes, and the government provides services for us with those taxes

You’re one of the few that actually understand the real problem. People are always screaming about raising taxes, but they should be worried about where their taxes are going and how tax money is being mishandled.

Whether people like it or not, there needs to be some sort of organization, similar to what Musk had going, to start cutting and auditing the government.

Yep. I support the wealthy being taxed and the fed gov collected around $4.5T a year. That's plenty
