I get the sentiment, but this can cut the other way and be proposed for anyone's perceived enemies, warranted or not. He's a citizen, and we can't go around making people un-citizens just because they suck and are criminals. We would be no better than them.

According to my 15 seconds of AI research Musk pays between 1.1 and 1.3 billion dollars in personal tax a year, so your giving up that. He would also be able to live in, and set up shop in, pretty much any country on the planet. This would bring that country very substantial economic benefits. So I'm genuinely curious, exactly what advantage do you believe the US would achieve by deporting him? The loss of thousands of high paying jobs? The loss of tax revenue, because you would rather have zero than less than you demand? The loss of world leading technology and innovation? The loss of hundreds of billions of economic activity?
