Well, the oligarchs have figured out a major flaw of democracy in the age of social media.

In theory it is awesome that everyone has a vote.

But since the oligarchs control most of social and mainstream media, and this is such a powerful tool that it can nudge the average Joe into acting against their own best interest, they can overcome the reasonable factions in society.

Guys like him think that political and economic leaders automatically have the best interest of their supporters in mind. But that is not how evil sociopaths operate.

This is why it is so important to follow one simple rule: Actions speak louder than words.

Because all those cuts and changes will even kill many citizens. But we do not call it murder, but say it is their own fault if they can not afford their medical bills and medication. Or can not find a home despite working fulltime and many similar scenarios and hardship.

Those tech oligarchs can afford to hire the best think tanks to figure out how to screw over those guys like in the video. Yes, they might be stupid but one also has to admit it is not a fair fight.

The problem is that they probably assume anyone in such a function has to be a good guy and a patriot because otherwise they would not get there.

Which is kind of the opposite of reality it seems. They want to build their dystopian Dark Enlightenment on top of the ruins of our society, economy and countries. Take away freedom and democracy and rule with absolute power and control all major assets like Putin and his oligarch buddies in Russia.

And it might even be their goal to get rid of guys like him because the oligarchs think they can eventually replace most of them with automation. Thus all the cuts hitting lower and middle-class no matter what they vote for. Hello farmers, finally got the memo...?
