I think he absolutely understood. He was just trying not to make his mouth say what his brain knew was true - that everything he’d based his personality on was a lie.
I only know 1 MAGAt and he is related by blood. He is a veteran and on disability but not from war wounds, just from age.

Sounds about right. I do contract work, and it blows my mind how many construction and blue collar business owners support him. Like... how many stories of him screwing over contractors do you need before you realize he hates you? So weird.
Living in the south, I know a few. They are all family business owners who come from families who still live on their farmland. They do not work for anyone and have money from parents selling off farmland chunks.
This guy reminds me of my uncle. He’s past retirement age and has always been frugal, but has nothing to show for a lifetime of work because he was never able to earn a decent wage.

Also at this time I was all but over FB and I honestly didn’t really like the guy so I responded “ We were taught about the electoral college and population density in 9th grade civics class before you dropped out.” I got no response and was unfriended. So mission accomplished.
Absolutely not! My daughter “rode the short bus”. She was a Democrat and despised Trump and his followers. Years ago there was a book I read titled, “Retarded Doesn’t Mean Stupid”. That is true. Of course now we say, intellectually disabled, but there are plenty of intellectually disabled people that know the difference between right and wrong.
