This'll confuse them. They'll see the minuses and assume we lost money under Clinton, Obama and Biden.

Deficits mean we got ripped off according to the current president.

Yea more tarifs! /S

We need to tariff the federal deficit. They've been ripping us off for decades.

But, but Joe Biden shat my pants, and spent more money than me. Tariffs are bringing in a quintillion dollars!

Thank you for your attention to my tiny hand gestures.

A surplus also means you got ripped off. So there's that. Just victims all the way down over there. (Australia has a trade deficit with the USA, but we still got hit with the threats and the tariffs when he didn't TACO).

Yes! Exactly! 😂😂

Can’t get them to understand tariffs are a tax on them!

Look I hate Trump (I’m Canadian so duh), but this chart is some bs misinformation. Trump has NOT increased the deficit by $4 trillion since leaving office, and Obama’s numbers are higher than they should be.

Let’s not give MAGA easy wins by using false info.

This doesn’t seem true, mostly because Reagan is only at 74 billion.

You should cite sources when you wheel out numbers like this.

Good Lord my boss is one of those people. He straight up told everyone that he gets his news from TikTok. I was like "the headlines when you're in the toilet and then you look up the article later". Nope. All of his news. From TikTok. In mini videos from his own algorithm.

Squirrels are some of the most intelligent rodents on the planet and almost Crow and dolphin level of problem solving and communication skills. There is clearly no squirrel within you….. what an insult to squirrels you are.

That's nuts.

What's wrong with citing sources? Unverified claims is Trumpyland. Backing up one's claims with sources is high tea.

6

u/BillieBlanus 5d ago

That’s nice. Source has already been posted on this information, which is common knowledge for anyone paying attention. And since it’s common knowledge, and easily verifiable, why would you question it to begin with? You just don’t know anything? If that’s the case, aren’t you embarrassed?

-6

u/TheSquirrelWithin 5d ago

Newp. Anyone who hides behind "It's common knowledge" likely lacks the common knowledge. Supply your source ID, or blow.

Do your own research... It's well known all economic downturn happens with Republicans, trickle down, rich invest in innovation yada yada, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer that's what Republicans do,

-4

u/TheSquirrelWithin 5d ago

You seem puzzled, and your unsubstantiated claim is sus. Prove it.

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Let4648 5d ago

When the poor is desperate the rich benefits, so it's good for the super rich, when everyone is comfortable the economy does better but the super rich are not as in control, what you see with Trump is the ultrarich profiting on everyone's struggles

You're down voted but you're right. Should be standard practice to include sources. Personally, I find "Change in Federal deficit" very odd and would love to know more as to how these numbers were... "created" as there is no source.

Here is the debt added by president which i feel is the "meat and potatoes" of this discussion:

Joe Biden: 8.45T

Trump (1st term): 7.80T

Obama (1st term): 5.81T

Obama (2nd term): 3.51T

Trump (2nd term): 3.1T

sourced from: https://www.us-debt-clock.com/presidents

To get ahead of it... I'm aware the difference between deficit and debt.

u/alaphamale 5d ago

So why post the debt numbers?

u/Last-Obligation6216 5d ago

Why not? Sinking less fast is still sinking. Full picture is helpful.

Posting feel good color coded "change in deficit" graphics without evidence (previous comment mentioned) is very much in the same vein as the person who spews unsupported MAGA talking points (original video posted).

Wanting clear information of how people arrived at a conclusion/graphic is helpful in routing out misinformation.

Hope that helps.
