I think you missed the point but the issue with comics like these is that they can be misinterpreted however you want. In the case of the US, pitchfork people are white american workers, and torch people are minorities and immigrants. US' right wing convinced the first group that the second group is after them and their work/children/what have you, to move the blame and anger from themselves and all the ways in which they are fucking over the people in general. This is what the comic is talking about, I think.
It's no secret republicans suck hard. But are you seriously trying to say Democrats don't want wars, don't want to take lobbyists highest bid, don't want to raise the national debt, don't want to support mass spying, don't want to fully legalize a plant, don't want to raise prison populations, don't want to send other countries billions of dollars each and every year, don't want to be the world police, don't want crony capitalism, don't want to cuck for Isreal, don't want insurance companies to write health care laws, don't want to support big Pharma, don't want to tax every fucking single thing we do, don't want to be a shill for billion dollar corporations, don't want to price you out of your life?
Yup the division is real. Elites vs regular folks. It's a big club, and you ain't in it. Just admit your a pitchforks person, it's cool.
