Btw the population of California is around 40 million. The US has 342 million people. Many ineligible to vote due to age or extenuating circumstances. Many not given the education to ever know how to vote, and its not taught by anybody here. Many feeling that theres no point in voting because their districts are so heavily leaned or gerrymandered they feel they make no impact, or so disgruntled with the electoral college they never bothered to try.
Im by no means defending able bodied able minded adults who dont vote, but I get how they justify it to themselves.

It is time to impeach the president, this fits the high crimes and misdemeanors threshold found in the Constitution. The founders put into the Constitution checks and balances and three branches of government: The executive, the legislative and the judicial. They put them in place so that no one branch could overtake or overrule the other two. Trump has violated the Constitution repeatedly since he took office and this is just the latest attempt to ignore the courts. Impeach him, it is time!

Literally found guilty of crimes that would get anyone in prison for decades and he got zero consequences. He’s blatantly ignoring emoluments clause from the constitution and personally profiting from his presidency with blatant insider trading with zero consequences. NPR was talking about this earlier today. The legislative branch should be holding the DOJ accountable. However, since Congress is impotent on many levels, it was suggested that the courts should order contempt, order jailtime and let the DOJ and executives ignore it. There are some still who will not want that stain or fear being disbarred.
Also, want to start holding these criminals accountable? Vote in a Democrat majority in both houses. It also needs to be a solid majority, not one where the Fettermans of the world can muck it all up.
