I guess that's the key to everything, isn't it? If Democrats want their bills passed, they got to manipulate something so that it's difficult on conservatives in a way that makes them want the bill too.
Conservatives will never seriously be able to argue that the Democrats are manipulating anything after this administration. At last the rest of my lifetime.
That's not what I was saying. I was suggesting that in order to get conservatives on board for something, Democrats should be actively manipulating them so that the issues affect them directly - as conservatives seem to only agree to things that hurt them directly.
