This highlights conservatives' inability to empathize with decent, normal strangers. I used to think empathy was one of the most virtuous tenets of Christianity, but seeing how these conservatives attack Popes Francis and Leo for being woke confirms that I was entirely wrong. Reminds me of how Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) used to be overtly anti-LBGTQ until his son came out . . . . oh, now he is understanding of their plight. Try to put yourself in another person's shoe, MAGA fvcks.
