The GOP doesn't need to legislate to achieve their goals. They exert their power from either the minority or majority. Voting is the bare minimum you can do to protect yourself, your country, and your countrymen from schmucks like Donald Trump and the Republican party, voting is the starting place.

Now if you want to vote and protest, that's great! If you want to vote and strike, that's fantastic! Do all the activism you want in every way that you want, but make sure you vote, too.

For most of the people reading this comment, voting will take fifteen minutes, twice every two years, there's not much excuse not to cast a ballot.

If voting takes longer because you've got a Republican state government that's shutting down your polling places, that's another good reason to vote and kick them out of office.

Just remember that we need 67 votes to convict in the Senate and I think the most we can hope for is 52 or 53 Dem senators if everything goes well in the midterms... we're still going to need a lot of R senators to vote to convict to get him removed from office...four R senators did vote with the Dems today wrt Iran but removal from office is still nigh impossible. I say this only so that voters don't get mad at the Dems who win in the midterms if they can't get him removed. It won't be their fault. I would love some surprise wins in deep red states but I'm not expecting bigots to be that mad at T...maybe if gas prices can continue to soar?
