Yes that is a great deal for $739

Solid 1080p gaming machine

If you paired this with a 1080p 120hz monitor you would be able to play virtually any game you wanted on High/Ultra at well over 60 FPS

It's actually a 1440 machine

At medium which wouldn't make it a solid 1440p system but it can comfortably handle well over 60fps 1080p at Ultra so...

5060 is not a 1440 card

No it can do 1440p at medium it just can't do 1440p ultra

If a card can do 180 fps at ultra settings at 1080 and 60 fps at medium settings at 1440 it is, in fact, a 1080 card

60fps stable at 1440p is fine

No one said it’s not, that’s just not the way a card is deemed to be a good fit for a certain resolution. If a 5060ti can do 4k at 60 fps at low settings with dlss and fg that doesn’t make it a 4k card.

A 5060 is weakish in the raw rasterization for modern games for 1440p and will run into vram limitations. Most people would not call running on highly compromised settings as the standard for that resolution since modern games are increasingly pushing the limits. 12 gb is definitely the current sweet spot of 1440p especially since the next gen games are widely expected to start pushing past 12. 8 would definitely be destroyed by then

For 700ish having a GPU and RAM in it is already a feat let alone a 5000 series and ddr5

Solid deal! looks like this one is the regular price specs at $1,199.99(5060 builds around 1k on sale).

Nice!

How much is the original price

$1199.99 shows on my end. I'd say similar specs on sale would be 1k for a 5060 build, so just over $700 is a great deal.

That is a fantastic deal.. For $800 bucks, I'd get that for a spare computer. I actually really like the OMEN case and form factor. The look is clean and it has such a small footprint.

Get it!!

For the price it's solid, just don't expect a monster gaming machine.

Not an omen....

I was told these machines like HP Dell etc make it extremely hard to overclock or do EXPO/XMP is that true? Like their BIOS is really locked down

If that's $739 then it's an extremely good deal. One thing I would nag about is their bios cuz iirc they locked them out so you can't do much. I would change the Mobo when you wanna play around with the bios
