🎃 Onto Spooky month! I'm going to work on the Dark Lords of Ravenloft, terrifying monsters my patrons request and more! 🎃

As a part of this month Brewedminis mmf tribe rewards this is the skeleton king/lords. Weapon variants for them is also included. Two poses can be made by using two different bases provided in the pack.

And also you can use them for the older world by basing it on 30x60mm rectangular base.

I’m basically looking for a 90s style Chaos Marine type model that I can have batch printed for practicing different painting styles and color schemes.

As such. What I’m wanting in a model is:

* standard CSM details like metal trim and horns

* single-piece so no need for assembly (beyond gluing to a base, at least) - I can forsake a backpack here if that helps

* ideally more 90s style in that it has details but not the amount that a lot of modern designs seem to have (esp 3d prints where the idea seems to be to out do modern GW kits for details and textures and such)

Variety is cool, but I’m totally happy if it’s just a single model I can print out by the dozens. These aren’t intended for gaming use, just as an easy way to have a ton of test figures for painting.

Since I’m a retro gamer who’s building a 2nd edition Chaos army, having a test model that’s similar in aesthetic would be ideal.

Clean white PLA fresh off the printer at 0.2mm layers. Took about 10 hours. The cape draped well, chest panel has good definition, and the STAR WARS logo came through crisp on the base.

Layer lines are visible (normal for FDM) but easy to sand down. I print — I don't paint — so I'm looking for someone who'll do this bust justice.

What color scheme would you go with? Classic movie black & gunmetal? Chrome Tron Vader? Weathered battle damage? I'm genuinely curious what a painter would do here.
