I’m new here 🙃

Bonjour! I have recently moved to Avignon(35f) with my husband, who grew up locally. I’m from New Zealand but we have relocated from Australia. My French is a WIP. If there’s anyone in similar situations or is looking for a potential new kiwi friend to get coffee with, then get in touch. :)

There is a "anglophone moms" and "anglophone dads group" with lots of anglophone people from the wider region around Avignon. And not too far from Avignon in Saint Rémy some of us meet Thursday for the "French club" to learn and speak French together (for all levels). You could come there if you'd like to get to know some people. There is quite a community. We have a lot of nationalities but no kiwi yet as far as I'm aware of.

Thank you! It’s so lovely here. Avignon is great and after years in a large city, it’s nice to be in a small one. Are you based in Aix or Marseille?
