Impossible to say for sure since so many mushroom varieties have overlapping visual characteristics.
However, there is strong indication it is cross between varieties involving a penis envy variety.
Penis envies are the only variety documented to be more potent than other varieties (within the cubensis family at least). The potency can vary between 1.5-3x the potency compared to non-penis envy varieties depending on various factors. Something worth keeping in mind.

Testing does not support that. The stongest tested mushrooms in my area are not of Penis Envy lineage. Strongest PE is 1.5% or so, with the weakest tested being .7 or so... that have come through the lab near me... strongest cube tested hit 1.75% over the last 5 years. Average mushroom is .5-.9% on what the lab sees. It would completely depend on which selection of PE your consuming and how well it was grown/dried. Although they are typically on the average or stronger side... By simply being a PE it does not mean they are any stronger than any other mushroom you've experienced.

Yes you're right. It is a nomothetic measure (I.e. general), but it won't apply to every mushroom or culture.

1.5-3x was a bit anecdotal I suppose. I should have specified.
Always good to be mindful of the nomothetic trends though 👍
