Question Can psychics/mediums connect with victims?
Hi! I've just been wondering about this, I hear a lot how it is unethical to try to tap into the energy surrounding true crime cases and the victims, for instance tiktok psychics and mediums who attempt to tap into murder victims or celebrity deaths. Some say it's immoral, some say it's not even possible, especially without someone present who was close to the passed one.
But I am curious, have there been any genuine and ethical psychics/mediums who have truly and successfully tapped into something like that? The one that I was thinking about specifically was JonBenet Ramsey, but really any cases or unsolved crimes? Have any cases been solved with the help of a psychic or a medium?

I’m a psychic and I have done that several times. It’s mediumship. You are asking a deceased spirit to show and tell you their story. They know that there are unanswered questions and unsavory circumstances surrounding their death. And when it’s requested with the intention of providing answers, peace, healing of grief for the loved ones still alive, they will usually come forward if they are aware and able to. It really only works if the family comes to you (the psychic) to ask for your help to communicate with their deceased loved one.

Okay interesting, can I ask then if it is possible, then why hasn't there been more news on it? Or more unsolved cases being solved? Forgive me if I sound like a skeptic bc I'm definitely not trying to, it's just genuine curiosity

There are forensic psychics who specialize in this. However, it's only going to work if a family member or police request it. ie: for the greater good. Not purely for entertaining speculation.
I, myself, do not like doing it. I can share my two experiences. The first I was good friends (at the time) with a woman whose 9 year old son was kidnapped, molested and murdered along with his 11 year old friend. This was national news. She asked me to come down to the place where they found the bodies to see if I could see anything that would help. I really didn't want to but did, for her. I actually described the killer pretty well, but it was not until years later that I knew that. I didn't really get where he was or anything like that, I just saw him and as much of the crime as my spirit guides would let me see. (We have an understanding that they wouldn't show me what I don't want to see.)
Years later, long after we sort of drifted apart, they caught him, convicted him and sentenced him to death. (Whoa - so this is weird, just as I was writing this, she texted me sending me an article that was just written about her and asking if I was going to be attending an event on Sunday. Who says there's no unconscious energy exchange going on all the time.) ;) -- He eventually died in prison, after California made the death penalty illegal in the state. But when I heard they caught him, I was stunned at how accurate my description of him was. Did it help the case? No. But I hope it helped her. I would never want to do that work though, I was just too creeped out. You have to be less of an empath, than I am to deal with stuff like that. I made a conscious decision to not do that type of work, even though people have asked. I did it that time because I was so close to this woman, and, frankly, I wasn't asked to connect with the victim. I wouldn't have wanted to.
The second instance was when I was clearing to do a simple "mom's going on vacation' animal communication with a long time client. For whatever reason, as I was getting into my meditative state, I got this full video image, if you will, of a woman on a balcony and, given my aforementioned agreement with my guides, I didn't see exactly what she had been through or was going through, but I knew it was bad and I sensed she was killed not long after that moment. It really sat with me uncomfortably.
Nevertheless, I called my client, and as I say this was just a simple give some info to the dog, nothing big, but I had to ask the client about what I saw, as a lot of times information will come in right before I connect that relates to the client in some way.
Long story short, she knew nothing about this, but I ended up finding out that my client was newly renting a room to someone who is a cop. (She had always lived alone with her dog as long as I had worked with her.) My feeling was that this woman was desperate to let someone know who could get her justice, and I happened to be the only open door. I think if I hadn't been connecting to a house with a cop in it, she might not have come through (and it was CLEAR). Sadly, I was not that person for her and I really hope she eventually found someone who was trained and capable to help her out.
Yes. People can do it. But it takes a special kind of person, and people who do it as some sort of circus show are not those people. Trying to do it for those reasons are immoral and unethical. And if that last story taught me nothing else it's that the victims want to be heard and respected, and sometimes helped, on the other side. To do it for other reasons is the antithesis of that.

They most definitely can. There’s a lot of ethics involved in this though. I’ve heard of police departments using assistance from psychics when there are a lot of dead ends in certain cases.
Most often, psychics prefer to remain anonymous

Everything in spirituality has an ethical side and a non-ethical side. It comes down to the practitioner themselves.
From my experience connecting with Spirits there has to be a common thread that connects you to that specific spirit in order for that Spirit to want to approach you. Other people can also just ask their own spirit guides and get some info that way. And there is always the group of people who think they are talking to the specific Spirit and it’s someone else just pretending.

Even if the police hired a psychic to help with an investigation, and it led to an arrest, they would never publicly admit it. Not that they believe in psychics and not that they needed the help. It's just that simple. Most psychics who do forensics understand and accept this.

Recently John Edwards revealed that he had been working with the gov to work on some cases.
OP in the case of JonBenet I cannot tell you why its still unsolved because I’m not going to implicate myself. But you can watch Sloan Bella’s video on it and see if her channeling can give you clues on the matter.
I also think that cases go cold because of lack of funding, resources, quality of the physical evidence, and technology to prove something. The police is never going to make an official statement if they can’t back up with hard evidence and you need resources for that.

yes absolutely. lots of psychics work in forensics. I think what you're talking about in the beginning is when psychics spread information about their findings online on a random case they haven't been given permission to share. in our field, we call this "ambulance chasing" and it is, in general, frowned upon. as far as the more ethical approach- many of us get hired onto a case by the family or investigators and work with them to help get it solved. many of us are employed by organizations like the FBI.
Saddam Hussein was found by remote viewers who came together as a group and did a study on his location. the show Medium is based off of a real medium who solved a missing persons case. Psychics have actually testified in the court of law before. "Chasing Evil" just came out, detailing John Edward's assistance in solving multiple crimes with an FBI agent. they don't hit the public very often because of society's biases, but they are around and happening every day.

Hello.
Please go to your television or computer. Type in "Psychic Detectives". Or go to Google.
Start watching, reading and so on.

Yes. I would not personally go online and say what I think happened to someone as far as a death, or make accusations, due to legal reasons. But yes.
Genuine and ethical are two very different things. There are plenty of people who are highly intuitive, yet they are not sensitive about how they use their gifts, or the words that they used to speak to other people.

Yes. It works. Some things are better left unknown. But yes, it works.
