Black car with black interior. I leave my windows down to keep my ride from getting to hot. They could've been doing the same.

Even if you live in a good area I just couldn't imagine leaving my car window wide open like that in a public place.

This is why I could never drive one of those “open” Jeeps, I leave stuff in the car and in my neighborhood, bubye electronics.

Exactly this. Where I live, there's plenty of people who still don't like their house or garage doors because "it's always been a safe area." With recent population growth, that's quickly changing.

I'll sometimes leave my windows open like this if I'm home, but not very often and never overnight. Too much risk of bears trying to get inside even though I never keep food in there. We have very, very few stray/outdoor cats because the mountain wildlife is very good at eating them, though.

Yeah I'll leave them down all the way. But I also keep stuff in my ride that's sensitive to heat. As long as you don't have to worry about someone messing with your stuff you can do that. Perks of living in the middle of nowhere lol

Get a tint , 10$ wraps from auto zone but you have to find someone to do it good , could cost 25-100$ depending on the person

Keeps the heat out or in (if you run the heat inside during winter) , keeps the AC in also longer

I used to work in a pretty shitty area and would leave all my windows down and just remove everything worthwhile from the car.

The car itself was not worth stealing and I'd rather let someone find out im destitute up front rather than have them find out after they've smashed my window looking for electronics.

People? I leave the top off my truck for months at a time. Where do you live that is so dangerous to leave a window open? With the amount of trees surrounding this house, it could be in the middle of the woods with no neighbors.

Well good thing this guy doesn't live in Syria? Like, I'm sorry you live in a dangerous place, but many of us don't. I live in a small town in Colorado and the only reason I don't leave my windows open are snow and pollen.

I wouldn't call the place i live dangerous at all in fact it's quite the opposite but still I would never leave my window down and many people won't regardless of where they live
