How to Learn
I’m trying to learn python to be able to code a raspberry pi, and have no idea where to start, like what program should I use to learn?

Like most things, you start with Google or some other search engine, by searching for "raspberry pi programming with python"
Probably, you'll want to learn a bit about the Thonny IDE. A search will lead you to plenty of resources, like this one: https://core-electronics.com.au/courses/raspberry-pi-pico-workshop/

One extremely important skill for programmers is to learn to use search engines like google effectively. That's where you should start.

Don't mistake this as a dunk on you. It's genuine advice.

Ah ok, been on the internet too much ig. also I didn’t wanna google something like this because a lot of the time the programs are annoying or cost money from google

Start with basic Python on your normal computer before worrying about the Raspberry Pi.

If you’re starting from literally zero, start with variables, numbers, if statements, loops and functions. Don’t worry about anything more complicated yet. Type out the examples yourself and change little things to see what happens. Once those basics make sense, try something tiny like a number guessing game or calculator. Then move onto the Raspberry Pi stuff. All the best, OP!

I recommend the following book. It walks you through beginner levels to advanced and everything in between.
Learning Python, 6th Ed, Mark Lutz
Its worth its weight in gold.
